The last time I was in Vegas it was shortly after Luxor was built. It was bright, shiny and the hottest thing on the strip. Fast forward to 2017 and it looks like the outside of the pyramid hadn't been cleaned in a decade, the venue itself is outdated, the furniture in the room is old and tired. The bathroom's...

I stayed in the newer tower and it was quite basic- no thrills. the hotel is huge (as are all the hotels in vegas) and quite hard to find my room.. the smell as soon as you walk in is quite strong - smoke .. the vents arent as good as the newer hotels so you smell like an ashtray...

This is our second stay in four months. I think we keep coming back for the value. The Luxor keeps coming in at one of the cheaper hotels on the strip. Service has always been good and rooms have always been clean and well appointed. However. This hotel is getting a bit old (the rooms reflect this). We cannot speak...

My husband and I waited six years to take a honeymoon. Six years. We saved for months for this trip and were so excited to finally visit Vegas, relax and reconnect in a 'luxurious room' as the website shows. Here is what really happened: We booked the Luxor as part of a vacation package and paid extra for a King...

It really has the feel of a resort that once was amazing and today it's pretty - however in comparison to some of the beauties now on the strip this place is in use of some updating in all areas. The buffet was good with plenty of variety - but again not as awesome as some of the new resorts...

With the aid of my Trip Advisor app. I was able to get a great room rate at the Luxor in Las Vegas. Staff at the front desk was very friendly & helpful. Our room was nice & clean. A bit warm at first considering that the AC was set at 69, but in time it became very comfortable.

Stayed here in June 2016. Had a lovely holiday, and Vegas is all its cracked up to be. Great holiday. Rooms are dated and hotel needs an overhaul. There are better hotels on the strip, and the Luxor is so far down the strip its miles to get anywhere. This hotel would be great for a boys gambling trip,if you...

This was our first visit to the Luxor and we enjoyed it! Based on another review, we booked an updated room (just 10.00 more a night) in the Cleo pyramid and it was well worth it! Things we liked: Our room was nice! Clean, great view and comfy beds and pillows! Great shops and restaurants inside the hotel (the Pizza...

I attend a convention each year at the Mandalay Bay and can't justify the prices they charge, so I always stay at the Luxor, which is reasonably priced in comparison. I also enjoy the walk between hotels to and from the convention each day. There is a monorail between hotels for those that are too lazy to walk! The chinese...

To be fair, this is the first time I have ever stayed at the Luxor, but I have been going to Vegas for the last 15 years or so and have stayed at Paris, Planet Hollywood, NY NY, Monte Carlo and Bellagio. This by far is the worst of the places I have stayed. Our room was located on the...
