Wanna stay a little ways from the strip? Or, even better, want to stay close to the Red Rock Canyon area? This is a great hotel. The guy who checked us in was very affable and welcoming. The room met all of our criteria (the shower leaked, but we didn’t complain) – very clean,

We are Marriott Reward Gold members and always stay at Marriott properties and literally have never had a bad word to say about this Brand. Unfortunately, when Marriott acquired SPG properties, they must have picked up some bad apples that don't live up to their good

I stay here all the time when I am in Las Vegas for work. It’s about a 15 minute drive from the airport and strip area, which is one of the benefits for a business traveler. It’s also right off the freeway and Town Center Drive, so you get easy access to everything. The hotel

We had a good week in Las Vegas at the Element in Summerlin. Easy access from the 205 freeway and lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Hot breakfast included every morning was appreciated. While it’s definitely not a Westin, it has the most important features of a Westin—the

A few points. I did not notice more green features other than they have free green element branded bicycles for guest use. I like that. It is really a less green hotel bc they allow dogs and I found myself constantly using paper towels and their towels to wipe off the dog hair which was tracked all over the hotel including my room. Just FYI: President Obama stayed in this hotel a few years ago. There is a newspaper article about why at the front desk on the wall.

Is the pool warm enough to swim during the winter?
Winter hadn't officially started when I was there. However the tempurature was cooler than normal and it was very windy. I tried the pool several times during my stay but the water was to chilly for me coming from Florida. But I agree check with the hotel to see if it's heated during the winter months.

"I had no complaint about noise from the 215 or the AC unit. We were on the 3rd floor. No gaming is a plus."
"The small suites are the same price as the rooms with two queen beds and they are a lot larger."
"Don’t make a reservation with this hotel."
"Ask for a quiet room that faces the pool area."
