waited about 2 hours to check in on a Tuesday. the line was literally out the casino doors. they had 1 person to handle issues, everything else was automated check in machines. if you had issues with the machines as i assume many did then you have to stand in another line to be able to speak with the 1 person they had. everyone was complaining and it fell on deaf ears they just dont care. will NOT B staying here again. Spend the extra few dollars and stay where you are appreciated and welcomed because its not here

The room wasn’t the cleanest, there were marks on the walls. But the bed was comfy and the bathroom is spacious. However, the walls are thinner than paper. We could hear our neighbors having conversations, playing music, slamming the doors. Multiple nights we were woken up. The room door also has a space underneath it to where you can see people walking by and hear whatever is going on in the hallway.

I definitely was not completely happy with all the changes at Horseshoe Las Vegas. It never was a top-notch casino, but I feel that getting rid of the lounge and a moderately priced restaurant will ultimately hurt them. It certainly does not leave a good impression on me. Would I go back there? Right now, I really don’t know. The rooms are still the same, and it remains in a great location. But change for the sake of change never sits right with me. I definitely was not impressed with their decision to get rid of clock radios. Not everyone uses a cell phone. Also, what's with the huge video arcade? This is not Disneyland.

When we first arrived I pulled back the curtains and there were moths everywhere, the door to the small balcony would not close thus moths, went to grab another pillow out of the closet and the pillow did not have a cover on it, the washroom was clean and the carpeting in the room was dusty, the hallway carpets are disgusting, looked like they were never cleaned in months the casino is boring, not many machines, spent most of our time at Ellis island, for cheaper food and good drink service. No drink service whatsover at the Tropicana.

Total room cost is very good at the Horseshoe, by why, why, WHY must we all get RIPPED OFF by needing to pay an extra $40. to check in before 3:00pm?? This extra charge results in most folk arriving to WAIT until 3.... Which causes the LONGEST line in check-in History!! Between 3pm to 7pm more people are IN LINE than are in the rest of the casino! Very few people are gambling... this is a LOSE/LOSE situation for customers and the hotel! Unless you plan on checking in after 8pm on the day of your arrival...DO NOT STAY AT THE HORSESHOE!

Upgraded to a suite online. The "JUNIOR SUITE" was no different than a regular room, except it had an inner passage to the room next door and a small dining room table. Definitely NOT worth it, and the room was filthy. It was INFESTED with grasshoppers, which I didn't discover until coming back at midnight. In the morning i counted 32 of them. (I never opened the sliding glass door, its sealed shut). In the morning, I asked that they downgrade and move me to a regular room, which they did, but they continued to charge me the extra $28.34 for the upgrade for the next 4 nights (desk person said they would remove the upgrade charge, but they never did...LIE # 1). I ended up overpaying $28.34 × 4 days, on my final bill. Also, they over charged me an EARLY CHECK IN charge of $17.01 even though I checked in AFTER 4 pm. Front desk said I would only be charged if I was early and it was available. I told them on the phone days prior to checkin that I wouldn't be early. That was LIE #2, because that charge was also on my final bill. But it gets worse...the new room they moved me into, was also infested...with moths! I woke to find them eating my garments in the morning. I called that issue in as well and asked that they spray my room, which they did. The only renumeration they offered me, was 2 days resort charges, or $39.68 x 2, for my 5 night stay, which is a joke considering the massive inconvenience and disgusting experience I had. Ultimately they overcharged me $130.37 for the early check in and for 4 nights of an upgraded room that I never had. Eventually, after getting back home, I called them yet again, and the billing person did finally make good on the overcharges, but what a hassle! I had to waste my time and seek them out to get this refund when it should have been done on the spot. I can only surmise that this institution hopes that people don't scrutinise their final receipt like I did. All of this could have been avoided if the people at the front desk, including the manager in charge, who I spoke to AT LENGTH, would do what they said they would do. I personally will never stay at this property ever again. I don't trust them. Also, treatment of guests is poor (during my stay when I called these issues in and asked to speak to the manager in charge, they HUNG UP on me 3 times in a row. Boo for them, their customer service is horrible. Never again.

The Hotel is very nice, open, and bright which is good. Rooms are nice and big. Only negative thing is there were crickets in the room. Casino is nice although there were very few blackjack tables open.

We recently stayed at the Horseshoe in May 2023 for a week. Great location! Our room was clean, spacious, comfortable bed, large bathroom and shower but dated. The front desks, bell desk, and housekeepers were very friendly and helpful - we would give 4-5 stars for these great services, but due to the lack of the security, we have to give 1-2 stars instead for this recently staying. On May 13 2023, we had a very BAD experience. After we went out for lunch, someone came into our room, and stole a luggage along with lot of personal items, total value loss is approximately $1000 or more. Later in the same day, our room and my name were used for dinning charge of more than $200 at the Hell Kitchen restaurant by the same person. We did report all of the issues to the Horseshoe Casino, and their security and front desk staffs said that someone from the Horseshoe Casino will contact us within 5 days - we are waiting! What could happened to us if that person came into our room while we were still being in then room?

Horrendous. “Express” check-in is anything but. What a joke. Offered a room upgrade online (I booked directly with the hotel btw) for one price and then when I got here they were like oh sorry that’s sold out but if you spend more money we can give you that upgrade. Basic, unimpressive hotel and room. Unfriendly, unhelpful robots for staff. Close enough to the strip but not worth the money. Skip it and choose something else.
