This is one of the most dumpy JW Marriott's I have stayed in. The rooms are run down, dark and dingy. There is one towel in my room for 2 guests. The mattresses are lumpy and bedding tattered. I am being charged $500 for the night and I am getting a Motel 6 experience. Stay away!!!
We are here for a convention and check-in pretty late. Las Vegas is 98 degree even at 10pm. We were out of water. We tried to look for the convenience store. It was closed. Tod at valet was very nice to tell us we can go to the front desk. Trent generously gave us enough water, plus, they are nice and cool from the refrigerate. We are grateful. This saved us a trip after a long day.
I’ve actually stayed at this property twice. It’s rooms and common area’s are dated and it smells like smoke in some area’s. For quick golf weekends (property is very close to Las Vegas TPC and other courses) its been fine for me and golf buddies. I found it reasonably priced in todays crazy hotel pricing. The second time I stayed here was a couple weeks ago and we brought our spouses. They went to the spa while we were golfing. They said the Spa was very disorganized, but their treatments were good. Unfortunately, they completely messed up the billing for the spa treatments. I was doubled billed. Mistakes happen, but its how a company handles it is what makes the difference. As other reviews have stated, the customer service for any issues that come up are ignored. I’ve made multiple phone calls to the get the billing error resolved to the Spa Manager with no return call. I’m an ambassador level with Marriott and asked the Ambassador concierge service to help and they couldn’t get a response from the General Manager. I stay at Marriott properties around the world and unfortunately I can’t recommend this one. Even though its priced competitively, its a dated property that needs updating and it’s management just doesn’t care.…
I stayed at this property in the tower where the casino is located (palm?) and it was the most disappointing stay. The rooms are very dated, the plumbing system is on its last, sounds coming from the sink, the shower and you can hear the above water flow. The faux balcony doors were broken so it didn’t close tightly as well as it’s horribly insulated. Although it’s at a great location, the fact they labeled this property as a “JW” it’s shocking. The staff who checked me in, valet, and restaurants were great but unfortunately that’s about it. I tried telling management about this (as a titanium elite member) and no one responded or cared. I will never stay here again for that reason. If they could have only reached out to address some of the issues I encountered when I was there, perhaps I would have been less harsh but this review, but also these things need to be pointed out as people stay here for vacations. Below you’ll see how run down my room and the property is as well as some of the elevators didn’t worked for most of my stay…
Everything was perfect. I stayed here for 5 days for a golf tournament and I must say this hotel/resort is everything a hotel should be. Clean/modern large rooms, courteous & friendly staff, excellent food at their restaurants, immaculate grounds. My wife enjoyed 4 days of spa experience with massages, facials, and pedicures and she said they were excellent. I am definitely going to book this hotel again if my travels bring me back to Vegas.
I was here for an academic presentation in the area. The rooms are clean but just tired The pool has lost its luster. But biggest problem : no great food options. Starbucks is the haute cuisine. Really ? This is Vegas ?
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our recent (and first) stay at this hotel. The staff were courteous, professional, and friendly. We found the Bell/Valet staff particularly helpful (Pablo; Ergan; Zoran; John-Paul: and others. A variety of dining options is offered and we especially enjoyed Jade for a great dinner out. Amenities abound and the property is beautifully landscaped. We shall look forward to a return visit in the New Year.
5/5 Had a Staycation for our Niece Birthday 🎊🎈 had a very wonderful experience. Nice staff and we won our sports book ticket thanks , Will come again. Nice rooms and restaurants, restroom Loved 😍 the landscape ing. And the wildlife. Koi, Ducks, Goose and they kids said there was rabbits in the morning.
Further evidence that the COVID pandemic led to a ‘nobody really cares anymore’ pandemic and EVERYONE including the JW Marriott Las Vegas was infected: It is a Monday night and from my third floor room in the Spa tower, the club music bumping from the restaurant patio below my window will not be restrained. At 8pm I was content to turn up the Monday Night Game to drown it out. My 9pm my calls to management were very politely ignored ("maybe it will end at 11pm?"). So where does the weary business traveller stay in Las Vegas when work means meetings speaking around tables, not shouting over Mojtos? Not the JW Marriott. I’ve enjoyed JWs and other Marriott properties around the world without a fault. Suddenly, sadly, the kids are in charge and a business traveller is just out of luck. Does Vegas have an Intercontinental?…
This is a nice hotel. It was definitely clean. The valet/bellman were very helpful and considerate. I only stayed one night but if I had stayed longer, I would have enjoyed the pool. The room was large especially for one person.
