I’ve stayed in a lot of Hilton and Virgin properties over the years and this just didn’t feel like one. It felt clear an old hotel had been bought and someone at Virgin just dropped some furniture into the rooms that matched what they normally have in their hotels. The room’s features outside of this new furniture were clearly old and dated (including windows that were so draughty and poorly sealed we thought we had left them open). I’m not sure if the cleaners are under-staffed or just don’t care, but across the few days we stayed we had to chase our room to be cleaned (once even calling down at 6pm having been gone since about 10am), received stained towels and even after cleans still had dust in the room, definitely not a proper or decent clean! The location isn’t great as everything requires a taxi, but I suppose we knew that when booking… but in hindsight, that was a bigger deal than expected with no taxis regularly picking up/waiting (like normal hotels in the area) so we had to rely on Ubers almost all of the trip. In summary, the whole place is just a bit disappointing and definitely not reflective of the normal Virgin or Hilton experience and service I have come to expect (and even further from its competitors style and experience in Vegas). It feels like an old hotel with a few of bits of Virgin furniture dropped into the rooms. The staff were friendly when engaging with us, but that sadly wasn’t enough to stop us all feeling like we’d wished we stayed elsewhere. Its definitely not somewhere I would stay again for the price of the rooms and what we got for that rate.

Hotel's Favourite
I wanted a hotel that was a little more laid-back than the hotels on the Strip. This place was perfect. I was in Vegas completely solo for one night. Wish I could have stayed longer. Check-in at Vegas hotels can be a pain with long lines. But not here. I got checked in after only a few minutes. With my Hilton Diamond status, I was upgraded from a standard king to a trendy and spacious king suite in Ruby Tower. Bathroom was huge. I love that the suite has a little entryway separated from the rest of the room. I ate at two of the restaurants, and they were both delicious. Casa Calavera was my favorite. Had the shrimp tacos. Tiny, but really good. In my experience, the staff here were all stellar. Even just passing staff in the hall, they always gave a friendly hello. The only problem I experienced was that I couldn't figure out how to work the rainfall shower. I honestly think it was broken because I tried everything. Fortunately the wand worked fabulously; so no harm, no foul. I can definitely see myself staying here again next time I'm in Vegas, and the fact that there are no resort fees will likely make this hotel my very first choice.

We stayed at the hotel for 5 days, absolutely not worth the price! Front desk and bar staff was nice and helpful, as well as the hostesses at the Commons restaurant. Service at the pool was absolutely unprofessional, borderline hostile. They were checking the bags rigorously, we were not allowed to bring and food or drinks, even though they stop service at 4pm, not even water which is just inhumane considering that you are in a dessert with the temperature above 100F. The pool closes at 6pm which is ridiculous for a resort and a city like Vegas. At the end they make you throw your towels in a very tall bin and as a cherry on top they start pounding on your beds yelling ’closing’! Absolutely unprofessional and an embarrassment for a brand like Hilton!

There are better hotels then this one, that are cheaper. Can’t bring any drinks to pool area, they want you to buy there’s only. No place in showers to set soap shampoo etc except on the floor. Bathroom

This is a cute Hotel off the strip. My friend and I stayed at the Ruby Tower, which was nice. It has it's own entrance which was nice. The lobby was cute with beautiful colors. The staff was very nice. The room was nice but there are some cleaning issues. I happen to drop my ring next to the mini bar and when I looked, it was very dirty. It was very dusty, had wrappers, paper and plastic silverware under it. The bathroom was clean. In the little room were the toilet is located, the floor was spotty half clean. This place really want you to spend money on the property. They want you to eat at restaurants in the hotel. The restaurants are expensive. The room did not have a coffee maker, fridge nor a microwave. These are some of the amenities that can sometimes break or make a hotel. Coffee at Dukin Dounts waiting in line for over 30 minutes is ridiculous, Brining leftovers from the restaurant no way to warm it up no microwave. Can't store anything cold, no fridge. Will I stary here again, I don't think so. The only reason we stay here in the first place is because of a concert at the hotel. Sorry Virgin.
