I still frequently think about the HORRIBLE stay I had here. The fact that I paid money to be next to a HORRIBLY obnoxious and loud room. Security kicked a person out at 1 in the morning because their name wasn’t on the room. You could hear the FULL exchange from the room I was in LOUD AND CLEAR as day. Then at 4am the person and their friend were talking so loud it sounded like they were in the room with me, no kidding, ZERO soundproofing. Just an absolute nightmare of an experience from Virgin Hotel that I always remember. This was on my birthday. The Virgin Hotels is HORRIBLE. Was not a positive experience to any degree.

Hotel's Favourite
Even though the hotel is slightly off the Strip it is an excellent location for multiple bars, restaurants and 24-hour entertainment with the CVS that is also open 24 hours right across the road. I was lucky enough to have oscar, the front desk personnel check me in who is absolutely amazing with his customer service, responsiveness to my needs, and gave me an excellent upgrade as a diamond member. I would like management to specifically recognize him as having amazing customer service personnel and encourage him to be a trainer for the future staff of the front desk. I would also like to thank Jeff the waiter at the hotel restaurant inside for his excellent Service. Due to these employees, I will only stay at this hotel while in Vegas as a gambler and diamond member. Anthony at the pool is also an amazing staff member who was attentive to our needs.

It’s difficult to decide where to start in terms of a review. Our very spacious room was just short of spectacular, exceeds our expectations. A mix of tech and partitioned living spaces, Way more spacious than a typical hotel room. Virgin scores an “A” for quiet comfort. I’m still processing where this hotel is positioned in the scheme of things. Having walked to the strip I would label The Virgin to be a concrete oasis harboring its own restaurants and entertainment experience. Like so many Vegas hotel complexes its grounds are large enough to form its own indoor/outdoor neighborhood. It’s positioned between the university, The Strip and the airport. On a map it all looks so close & compact but when you walk it you realize it’s a massive concrete jungle of city blocks with some blocks still unoccupied…at the moment (open mile long voids). It’s like a city in the making with yet to be built enclaves. The Virgin desperately needs a public transportation artery to connect itself too (ex. a shuttle/monorail) The walk between everything is uncomfortably barren so taxi/uber/lyft seems necessary so as not to waste time in no-man’s-land. Easy enough but it adds up of course ($). If we had reason to visit the university I would say The Virgin has it all but if I wanted a Strip experience then I would seek a casino complex in the center of physical The Strip with nearby people mover access. Vegas is still walkable in terms of distance but arguably too massive to experience on foot in the heat. We plan to spend part of day two in what I’ll call Virgintown tomorrow. A suburb of Strip City. Might as well appreciate what Virgin has to offer which has yet to disappoint

We only stayed one night at this property but after staying at Caesar's for 2 nights a few days prior, I would recommend this way more than Caesar's. The aesthetic of the room we had was so clever. It was a spacious king room overlooking the pool. Very comfortable bed and enjoyed small details like having a large door to close between the bedroom and bathroom area. Didn't really dig the fact that there was a resort fee because the amenities that includes are free at other properties. I don't think it should be different in Vegas. I did like the fact that this one was more laid back and definitely gave you a resort feel. Uber picked you up right up front of the property which was handy and appreciated. It is a location not on the main strip but I didn't mind that. Some might. Not a ton of food options close by but a quick Uber or a short walk to the strip offers whatever you need. Good customer service whenever we encountered staff. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is conveniently located off the strip, we enjoyed walking to the strip rather than being on it. The American Grill Restaurant was breakfast every day and the wait staff and food were fantastic! We ate at the Mexican restaurant once and the food was very good. The valet guys were good, the front desk check in and out experience was good, check out Gust Service rep was excellent, efficient and very friendly. The housekeeping service was great, the room we stayed in was in the Opel Tower and it was fantastic as well. We will be back. Thanks for a fantastic experience.

I stayed at this hotel during spring break. When I searched for hotels, this one came up as a low cost option. My needs were free parking, free WIFI and a safe rating as I am a solo traveler. The hotel delivered on everything they promised with only a few minor hiccups. Overall the room was very clean. There was a chair that had questionable stains on it, so I chose not to use it. When I entered the room, it was bright and airy. The colors in the room were vibrant. Technology included a wireless phone charger, large flat screen TV and lights that could be controlled via several different switches throughout the room. No need for a Do Not Disturb sign because there is a light switch that you can press that shows the request on the outside. Once in the room, the bathroom had a door and the vanity was large and well lit. The shower was large and had two different shower heads that you could use. They also provided shampoo/conditioner and body wash. I used the body wash and it smelled nice. The regular soap and body lotion was a nice touch too. There was an additional door that separated you from the small foyer and bedroom. I thought this was a good safety feature. I also used the iron and ironing board and they both worked fine. I had no problems with accessing the elevators and they were very quick. Quick note, you must use your room key to activate the elevator, so go ahead and keep it out or you will be stuck in there, LOL! The pool was not open, however, I found two baby ducks and alerted the staff. There was no mom or dad around, but the staff said they would handle it. I hope they did. The casino was just large enough for someone who really doesn't gamble. The staff was nice, except for one valet person that I dealt with twice during my stay. He was rude and asked me questions that no one else did. Almost as if he doubted I was a guest at the hotel. Other than that, the price and the amenities will definitely lure me to stay here again.

This is a great place to stay in Vegas if you don't mind being a bit off the strip. It is still walkable but you won't be in the center of the action. Our room was nicely decorated, modern, and clean overall but it wasn't thoroughly vacuumed as the rug and sofa needed some attention as there were visible dustballs. There was a good selection of eateries in the resort and we really enjoyed our meal at this locations's Nobu. We also got a good rate on our room so it was definitely worth staying here even if it was a bit removed.

Leisure stay at the former Hard Rock Hotel. Large hotel with well over 1500 rooms in two towers so don't expect any kind of special service even for Gold/Diamond members. Room design was beautiful, good bathroom amenities and plenty of food options, some open 24hr. Impressive entryway and valet available. Public areas very clean. Rooms well stocked with small bottles of complimentary water and had a very nice view of the Strip from the window. Housekeeping standard high. Ice machines available on each floor and plenty of free parking. Gaming area was uncrowded. Airport and the Strip only a 5/10 minute drive away. USB ports in room which is helpful if travelling and forgot US adapters. OK room rate. Outside pool and decent free WIFI connection. Light switches in room very finicky and no towel rack for hand towels. Tea/coffee pods were very poor in taste. Although close to the airport, I was unable to hear the planes overhead however instead, I could hear the sounds from every room in the vicinity making for very poor sleep despite the comfortable beds. Minibar in room but 40$ cost to empty if you want to store your own items. When I had a few issues and brought them to the attention of the front desk, older American lady at the desk was very smug, arrogant and dismissive. No apologies for inconveniences and promptly brushed off. Other front desk lady very unhelpful for answering simple queries about hotel facilities. Staff training needs improvement. Although there were many food options, those that I tried was mid at best and extremely over priced. Staff at food outlets very disinterested and constantly on phones or adjusting trousers which wasn't pleasant.

The room was ok, a little worn in places…the conduit stuck to the ceiling, for the lights, unstuck in some places, the curtain track the same…the rug a little bare in some bits. The bathroom was very good, spacious and well lit. The casino area is smaller than some on strip, and, at times it’s a little quiet…but there’s a good range of food opportunities and it does an ok job. We stayed when it was hard rock and it’s not that different apart from the aesthetic…same volume of people, same amount of slots…it’s an off strip casino, there are better, there are worse

My family and I spent 4 nights at Virgin for Spring Break and we had a great time. Front desk and bell services were accommodating every step of the way. We’ll definitely stay here again. Only have a few nitpicky notes, but nothing that would prevent me coming back. PROS: Doesn’t smell like smoke at all: big plus for Vegas! Close to the Strip (5 min car ride, 30 min walk) but not overstimulating. Perfect location for those over the age of 30. Free parking. Good food options at all price points, including room service. Love the chamber/room divider layout: Perfect for families who go to bed at different times. Able to use my Hilton Honors. Great service all around CONS: Maybe it’s just how dry my skin got in the desert, but the rough towels and the hard water in the shower both left my skin very itchy for the entire trip. Would be awesome if there were more lawn games/outdoor activities. We saw one foosball table, but there seemed to be space for more (corn hole, pickleball, ping pong, etc). Only one pool was open, and no hot tub. Bathroom was a little cramped. Couldn’t sync the room controls to my Virgin app as advertised. Spa could use longer hours + more affordable services, but that’s standard for anywhere in LV.
