The Renaissance Las Vegas Hotel garners praise for its professional service, with staff often going the extra mile for guests. While the cleanliness and views of the rooms are highlights, some guests find the decor outdated and have reported noise and booking issues.
The atmosphere is noted for its modern and tranquil feel, providing a calm alternative to the lively Strip. Although the amenities and location are appreciated for their convenience, especially for convention goers, opinions on the value are mixed, with some citing high fees and underwhelming features.

Detailed Reviews
If you have status with Marriott, this is a great hotel. It has one of the best Concierge Lounges that I have ever been to. The only negative is that the Lounge doesn't have food on the weekends.
If you're looking for points, you won't be disappointed here. Forego housekeeping and earn around 1k points per day.
At the time of my stay, there was free beer vouchers at the hotel bar and free dessert vouchers.
There is a 17 dollar fee for self parking per day. This can't be too surprising as it is a Renaissance and near the strip. Overall, the parking fee isn't too expensive.
The rooms have plenty of space and plenty of power outlets. The bathrooms have a separate tub and shower. The TV's have the ability to link to some streaming services. If you like to use Amazon Video and brought your own tablet or computer, the WiFi is very capable of handling streaming.

It all starts with the staff of this hotel. We arrived early but that was not a problem for our wonderful front desk assistant Marjorie. This lady went above and beyond on many occasions to help us with our needs, huge KUDOS Marjorie. The hotel Covid rules made us feel so much more relaxed than what we had seen elsewhere, masks mandatory and sanitization stations in abundance. It may be a somewhat dated hotel, although refurbished very nicely, it is so convenient for the Monorail to go to places or if you have a need at the Convention Ctr. it is a stones throw away. The very welcome cards for a free beer, small desserts and whisky samplers are very useful before and after lunch or dinner gift. Cannot give out enough thank you to all the staff who helped us, they are the reason we go with Marriott Bonvoy.

We stayed the hotel for two nights during a Las Vegas business trip, The hotel was fine option if you can get a decent price and a reduced resort fee. We booked through Bonvoy, so received somei ncentives to stay, but if that was not there, I would have felt the "resort fee" charge was not worth it in comparison to the benefits.
Positives
Nice room with nice bathroom
Acknowledged our Elite status and checked to see if everything was meeting our standards
Offered water each time we left the hotel
COVID protocals implemented and felt safe
Close to the monorail if you need to get to the strip
Great outdoor pool area that sayed relatively cool during the Vegas heatwave
Negatives
The Resort fee benefits were not worth the price
Area around the hotel can get a little sketchy (especially at night)
Could not honor any late check out options except for Platninum members ( I'm Gold Elite)

Hello LadyLana, Thank you very much for sharing your feedback on TripAdvisor regarding your recent stay at the Renaissance Las Vegas. I am glad to hear that overall your stay was enjoyable from the staff service, COVID protocols, facilities, and Monorail access. If you have a moment to contact me I would love to get your insight on how we could increase the value of our resort fee offerings. In comparison to many we feel that our Whiskey Tasting, Local Beer, Local Dessert, WiFi, Casino Credit, Sun Kit, etc. are of great value for the associated resort fee. Again, your feedback means a lot to us and we are always curious to learn how we can continue to add value and enhance the stay for our guests. I look forward to connecting with you and hopefully serving you again in the future. Sincerely, Nick Clark General Manager

Our stay started out well with a very friendly front desk staff however when we checked into our room we were Very disappointed. There is literally one drawer for clothes (a second if you count the small one under the safe)! The rooms are not updated (unlike the very comfortable and roomy Residence Inn down the street). Very few USB ports; Horribly uncomfortable chair next to a very small table barely able to hold a laptop. The bathroom is only good for one person, two people cannot fit in the small area near the sink. When we checked in we asked that the room be cleaned every day ~ not to be. We left at 8 a.m. and returned at 5 p.m. the way we left it. Not good. The room was not inexpensive and then on top of that you get the $17/night charge for parking and a $30/day fee for WHAT? We are loyal Marriott clients but are very disappointed in this hotel ~ if we were not so tired after a day of renovating a condo we would move ~ Wynn was a much better deal ~ will stay there or the Residence Inn next time.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a conference. When you first walk in what hits you is the pleasant clean smell when you first step into their elevator from the parking garage, the entire hotel, including our room was incredibly clean. I appreciated that they had hand sanitizer the moment you step in their garage elevators all though the hotel for use during covid.
What sold us was the staff. I believe Marjory (the front desk agent that has been there for 16 years, I feel terrible if I got her name wrong) checked us in, and she was so friendly throughout our 6 day stay. She explained to us that she's just there to have fun. My husband, who is also a hotel General Manager, said that we all need someone like her. She is gold and so sweet and kind. You just get the feeling she loves her job and hospitality.
The housekeepers were incredibly kind, talkative, and personable whenever I would ask them for something or ask for help.
Youssef also stood out to us, one day I went down to heat up my sons bottle, but the microwave got moved from the lobby area, he walked at least a few floors with me, helping me try to find a microwave but decided to give me access to the 15th floor lounge so I could heat up my sons bottle. This hotel has stellar staff and you can just tell that they love their job and their hotel.
Thank you for such a wonderful stay and experience!

Overall average stay, but a nuisance was the inconsistent schedule of housekeeping. I went with my husband for a business trip and while he was at the convention center, I worked remotely from our room. For the days we were there, housekeeping came at completely different hours—3:45, 8:30, 11:30, 2:00–and could not give an estimate of when or if they would be able to get back to the room if they were not able to clean it at that moment. I opted to sit in the very loud and heavily perfumed lobby while they took care of the room since I had already missed a day of housekeeping while they took care of the room. One bed was so soft, I felt like my back was breaking trying after one night of sleeping in it but thankfully the other bed was a little firmer. Some of the towels were ratty and had holes in them. The company my husband works for paid for the hotel but I probably would not stay here on my own time. Proximity to the convention center is great, especially if you’re looking for a chance to put your feet up during the middle of a trade show or a short walk back after a long day. The coffee bar was the highlight of the hotel for me. Best cheese danish I’ve ever had and they serve Starbucks coffee so it was completely predictable if you were used to your typical order.

I have stayed at the Renaissance several times in the past and am still impressed with the quality of the service, cleanliness of rooms, and the quiet surroundings. You can have a spirited time in the bar if you desire yet the rooms are quiet and peaceful. We stayed during the SHRM conference. With an upgrade we stayed in room 630. Pay the price or give up some points to stay in this upgraded suite. There are two on every floor. The higher the better. Big window facing the golf course and the Strip, large bathroom and a half bath off the living room. Lovely place to relax after a long conference. Covid still messes with the daily cleaning of the room but if you ask for it, it is graciously provided.

I stayed here for a business trip. It was my first time, and I loved it. Room was clean and smelled great. it was the most comfortable bed I've slept in so far that wasn't my own bed. I ate at Envy Steak house. Of course, it was expensive, but it was well worth it. They even have a little Star Wars-type robot that delivers to your room. A person I work with said he had shampoo delivered to his room, and that robot delivered it.

The hotel gives you complimentary beverages when you check in, and also complimentary breakfast. They don’t tell you that the voucher is worth $26 and you can use it at the restaurant! Stephanie was our server and she was very hospitable to us. Excellent service and a pleasure to be around. Definitely coming back here next time I’m in town.

This hotel is a really nice property, away from the craziness of the Strip but still very close to it. Arrival was great, we chose to valley park our car - great option for $30per day or guests can self park for $17 per day. Girl that worked valley was lovely, friendly and smiling all the time. The check in was extremely unfriendly. Young girl, name starts a with T. She seemed annoyed at any question we had so we didn’t ask much. Room was lovely 12th fooor - we are Titanium members, so we also got club lounge access for the duration of our stay. After we settled in we went down to the bar for a drink and the some food. They were seriously understaffed. We waited for food and drinks for ages and for the bill we waited the most. It was extremely inconvenient since our friend was waiting outside the hotel to pick us up in her car. I made a comment about waiting and one stuff member, a girl almost shouted at me. We left the hotel thinking how we must be having very bad experience since hotel has great reviews. It was very strange. Second day we went by the reception and we met Youssef, who really turned our stay into a really great experience. He advised us on metro, explaining the map and was just amazing. The same day we took seats at the bar and the bartender, he didn’t have a name tag was brilliant. The day of the check out we went to Youssef again and all was perfect. Another strange thing that happened was that we had a housekeeper bang on the door several times at 09:30 am. We were scheduled for a late checkout so not sure why that happened. Luckily we were awake, but strange. The breakfast in the club lounge was small but high quality and sufficient. I really enjoyed it.

Hello 830davinaa, Thank you so much for providing your feedback from your most recent stay with us. We are so happy to hear that you enjoy our location away from The Strip. It is something we certainly enjoy as well and are glad we can share with our guests. I am sorry to hear about some of the service issues you experienced. Providing the highest level of service is our number one priority and we hate to hear that, that was not the case throughout your entire stay. We utilize every survey as an opportunity to provide feedback to our team, so we can better serve our future guests. This is no different. Should you come to Las Vegas again, do not hesitate to reach out to myself directly. I would personally like to assist in making your future stay excellent. Thank you again for your feedback.

You can Google map the distance from hotel to where you want to go yourself, based on mode of transportation and traffic. It will vary, but an Uber to the strip was like 10 minutes. The strip is not walking distance. There is a "train" that is across the parking lot from hotel that you can take and stops at certain places on the strip.
Drink and dessert coupons, but if your cool at the bar and tip decent you can keep them for another time
It is a very shaded area, great in summer, not so much in winter. Always open.
Hello,
yes there is and tea too I think.......there is also starbbucks in the back side of the lobby towards the elevators if I remember correctly....and if you have breakfast at the hotel its is also inculded in your buffet ....the buffet is amazing and so is the staff...I recommend getting the breakfast package if you can or in the future .....
