This upscale casino resort is 2 miles from the Red Rock Canyon National Recreation area and 11 miles from Las Vegas Strip. It is a beautiful property with several restaurants to eat at. Rooms are clean and spacious. Buffet Breakfast is unbelievable. Has hundreds of items .... something for every body!

Red rock is a little distance from all of the "Vegas" glitter, but could be just what your looking for. The offer upscale atmosphere and options without the upscale Vegas price. Was very impressed with the ambiance, casino area, and the dinner buffet was superb, next time I want to be off strip...red rock will get my first look at.

We stayed here for 3 nights to attend a birthday celebration. The staff at check in were gracious and welcoming. They offered us a room upgrade at $200 per night, which we declined, and we were extremely happy with the regular room we had booked, which was nicer than a lot of upgraded rooms I have stayed in. The rooms...

With the Vegas Strip crowded by traffic and not much available space, newer facilities move further away from city center. Red Rock takes advantage of necessity by offering great views and facilities. The casino is kinda standard, the amenities typical Las Vegas. Their support for conferences is good. The food is well prepared and there's a decent variety. The buffet...

I accompanied my husband on a business trip to the Red Rock Casino & Spa and at check in we asked for a room away from the elevators as smoke bothers us. I know it is a non smoking hotel but any hotel with a casino in it will be smoky especially near the elevators as it travels up, in...

We came here on spring break in an effort to do something different than the beach. This hotel was recommended on many family sites. They did have many things for kids, including movie theater, bowling alley, onsite childcare, food court and plenty of good restaurants. Unfortunately all of these things were only accessible by walking through smoky casino which is...

Extremely comfortable in all regards. Downright luxurious! Spent a week here for a business meeting and never got tired of it. Was actually a relief to be off the mayhem and hype of the Strip. Never gambled, but enjoyed restaurants in the hotel, movies, etc. Girlfriend visited the spa and said the brown sugar scrub was "the best ever". Only...

I came here for a conference. The facilities are nice. The rooms are large, well appointed and clean. But, the in-room Wi-Fi was unusable. That seems unacceptable for a place that hosts business conferences.

Had high expectations going here, but overall we were pretty disappointed. We got in fairly late (around 10pm) and when we went to check in, hotwire messed up our reservation (there was 7 of us, 2 rooms booked, but they only sent one to the hotel). Our paperwork clearly showed 2 and the people at the front desk knew this,...

Was here for a meeting/convention and this place was awesome. Beautiful, comfortable rooms that made you feel in luxury, even with the pretty basic rooms. Gorgeous pool area, which I didn't get to visit, but sure wished I had the time. Would love to come back here for a couple vacation days to just totally relax. Everything you need is...

Hi. we just returned from Red Rock and was disappointed at the fact that the kid friendly activities and restaurants were only accessible from the casino (that is, unless you access that part of the resort from the outside entrance rather than the guest room elevator bank). Not trying to discourage you, but I would have appreciated that knowledge prior to our trip. To us, the kid-friendly activities, room, views and good (but spotty) service were not worth having to put up with the casino and cigarette smoke day in and out.

Quite honestly, it's all about what's important to you. If you really don't want have to deal with casinos and cigarette smoke on a daily basis, look elsewhere. We stayed at the Vdara several years ago and, though in a less desirable location in the middle of the strip craziness, found that to be more kid-friendly as it is a non-smoking, non-gaming hotel that had suites with full kitchens.

It appeared that there were many options for shade -- many cabanas and tables with umbrellas. I was there in January, and the pool was very quiet. I don't know how early the shaded seats fill up in the mornings...enjoy! it's a lovely spot.
