Location is very good, you can walk 5 minutes and you are in the middle of Las Vegas strip.
One day you can get lost walking to the right and the other day do the same to the left.
Hotel is nice , without casino which makes it a quiet hotel. It has a pool with a sauna, exterior sauna is really hot (great) and pool is nice.
Room is like an apartment , great size, very comfortable, with everything you can need to prepare breakfast or any meal.

Housekeeping well... we had troubles getting good housekeeping Service, but the hotel responded well to the complain.

So I can say that we had a pretty good stay in Platinum.

This is a hotel that I have waited a long time to visit and the wait was well worth it. The check-in was seamless. We arrived early to the hotel and was still able to check in early. I booked the reservation directly on the price was as advertised when we checked in. I had questions about the terms and the person who assisted me was SUPER. He got everything squared away, described the suite and did and online upgrade.. Fantastic. This hotel has top notch customer service, whenever we called the front desk they picked up promptly and took care of business. The hotel facilities and suite were clean. The floor was quiet. The lounge food at the hotel was well prepared, delicious and reasonably priced The suite was very spacious with a nice view of the strip. The pool area was nice. If you want snacks there is liquor store just down the street and Ellis Island Casino is almost next door with good food and great prices, and also for upscale dining there is a Lawry's. The strip is within easy walking distance. I like this hotel is a breath of fresh air. No smoky smell, it is intimate so you can enjoy the hotel without the crowd. I highly recommend this hotel. I will be back!!

Located just a quick two blocks off the strip, the Platinum is a perfect place to for both short and long term stays in Las Vegas.

The check in process was painless and with a very friendly front desk staff. The complimentary bottle of wine was a nice touch as well.

The room was a one bedroom, with a large living room, full kitchen and a very nice bathroom. The in-suite laundry was a great bonus and well used. The wifi worked great and the workspace provided a great space to get some daily work done.

Used the kitchen a few times during my stay, the provided full set of cookware made making meals easy and the dishwasher made for a easy clean up.

The balcony offered a amazing strip view as well as a place to enjoy a coffee in the morning or a cocktail after a long day.

I did venture to the Tuscany Suites & Casinos as well as the Ellis Island Casino which are located next door for some take out during my stay. There was also a 7-11 and mini market located steps away from the front door.

It was nice staying at a non gaming property but still being within a 10 minute walk from the strip. Highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was nice. I was disappointed with the lack of house keeping. I had to call the front desk to get toilet paper. I understand this is under Covid restrictions but having to ask for clean towels and toilet paper is a little ridiculous. I also booked online on the website, booked a king suite with a view. When we got there we had a double queen, front desk said he upgraded our room to the king but it did not have a view. Did not say anything until check out and the front desk blamed it on Covid. “We can only clean so many rooms, sorry”. I agree you are sorry and I won’t be back.

Still not fully open, reduced the pool hours ,now 10 am to 8 pm, check on the rest of the amenities before you book. We’ve stayed here 13 years running, and enjoy the clean, quiet rooms, we’ve stayed in Solitaire, Princess, and Marquis suites, and they’re all great, with full kitchen areas in Princess and Marquis, clothes washers and dryers in room, balconies very spacious, and a great local casino(Ellis Island) just around the corner for food choices, since the Platinum has temporarily closed theirs. The staff are very friendly and approachable, Neal ,in maintenance is the man!! A short Vegas block from Bally’s for ducking into the a.c.!! Good exercise! Self parking in the age of COVID-19 , who knows what the future holds?!

We’ve come to stay at the Platinum 13 years,,in a row! We’ve tried many of the major Strip hotels over the last 30, but when we stayed at Platinum, we’ve booked our Las Vegas summertime week, and never considered any of the others!
The location( a 5 minute walk to the Strip, timed) very well maintained pool, the welcoming staff from check in to check out, the full kitchens and laundry in rooms, great views at night of the strip, and quiet Mountain View rooms( we’ve stayed in all their room levels, from Solitaire, to Princess, and Marquise suites), with great wifi service, and large TVs. As we like the non smoking, non gaming policy, it satisfies us every time we return. When we first started coming to Las Vegas, we used to come for gaming and dining choices,,,now, we come for the many eating choices, all very accessible from Platinum. Ellis Island is just next door, has great casual choices, Del Frisco’s is close by with other higher end dining, and I could go on,,but we always recommend Platinum Hotel to all our friends and family, and those who have never stayed in Las Vegas before. We’re sold on it😍😃😃

Hotel is great that it has no casino and is smoke-free property. It is not a massive hotel like those on the strip so it was easy to navigate from parking lot to lobby to room. A free bottle of wine (red or white) was provided at check-in. Room has a fully equipped kitchen for those who want to prep something to eat. I requested a pot to cook oatmeal breakfast and was provided with a full set of cookware. Room was same as what they had posted for the photos. Requested a quiet room on high floor and got one on 15th floor looking at Flamingo away from strip. Another family member got a room on 16th floor looking at the strip (big wheel, caesar palace, etc.) Due to covid, housekeeping was provided upon request. The suggestion I would make is to open the pool earlier in the morning. Pool opens at 10am, so wasn’t able to use it when that is about the time when I head out. There is a resort fee at the hotel.

From the moment we arrived at the Platinum we were greeted by a cordial staff who helped with the luggage and escorted us to our rooms. The pool was a bit chilly and we reported it. One of the most professional, thoughtful and kind person we instantly met was Leonardo. He addressed our pool concern and for the remainder of our stay the pool water was very comfortable. The indoor-outdoor pool was spotless. We saw Leonardo the next day and he inquired about the pool and our continued comfort. Such a sincere and warm-hearted person. My daughter reported an issue with the water in her room and again Leonardo responded quickly with tools and ladder in tow. The issue was remedy quickly and with a positive and caring attitude. Dinner at the Platinum bar and grill was wonderful. The waitress was attentive, quick to meet our needs and the food came out warm and timely. Excellent service. And so here is the final picture: Rooms were beautiful, awesome view and spotless. We rented two suites that were generously spacious and gorgeous!! Shout out to housekeeping !!!! Very High standards. Location a few minutes’ walk to the strip. Everything was nearby, gas, restaurants, fast food, and convenient stores. Very Safe and high tech security in the hotel. Upscale Amenities were too many to mention and with the suites came a washer and dryer...a must when you have kids. If they were condos I would have purchased one instantly. Free parking with easy in and out. "Leonardo" was an impressive young man who exemplified professionalism, competency and genuine kindness. Waitress the third night we were there ensured that our dining experience was the best. Because of her we returned two more times!! I have already recommended the Platinum to my friends and family, and we are planning a family reunion this spring. I have never written a review and it is with great pleasure that I write this one. Rent a suite...you will love it. With much respect from our family to yours.

This hotel is probably 3/4 mile walk to get to the Strip, on a busy well-lit street. (But honestly, you're going to walk miles each day if you are out wandering in Vegas anyway.) I felt safe doing the walk. The Monorail stop is midway from hotel to the Strip.
Stayed 4 nights. Non smoking hotel without casino, so you don't have to walk for 10 minutes through the casino to get to the elevators and your room. The rooms are huge--separate living room and kitchen area. Kitchen equipped with plates/bowls/silverware for 4, but no pots or pans. Couldn't get hot water to run in the kitchen sink. 2 TVs. Very large bathroom with shower and a large tub. Decent patio with 4 chairs and a table that looked toward the strip (and sunset views).
I needed to do a Zoom call, and had trouble with unstable wifi, but the next day, Microsoft Teams meeting was fine. I wandered around hotel looking for better wifi signal, but still had problems on Zoom. Front desk clerk was kind enough to turn on lights in the closed restaurant for my call.
Restaurant/bar is only open Thurs to Sunday, after 4PM. I didn't utilize the pool or the fitness room, but they appeared open. The spa is still closed for COVID.
Snacks available for purchase in lobby. A couple of convenience stores nearby to get other things, but signs of nearby homeless are everywhere, including the Strip.
Housekeeping doesn't come in daily unless you ask for it. We requested it, and a good clean up job was done each day.

I stayed here because it was the host hotel for the Revel Canyon Mt. Charleston Marathon that I ran on 4/2/22. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. The service was excellent and we received a free bottle of wine upon arrival (that I couldn't drink pre-race). It had a full kitchen with a separate living area. The bed was comfortable enough and it had a soaker tub with a separate shower. The bathroom counters were large enough to hold all of my toiletries. We had a problem with the AC (it was user error) and after calling the front desk, a service man was at our door within 5 minutes. This is a non-gaming, no frills hotel and it's close to the strip and convenience stores within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again over most of the strip hotels. It could use a little updating, but had everything I needed for a pleasant stay.
