At first, I was just going to never stay at Planet Hollywood LV again for how jacked around I was during the check in process. Now I’ll never stay at a Caesars property again. I reserved a King room months ago for my 40th Birthday. I had requested an early check in due to my flight and I was offered early check-in. When I arrived at the hotel, they told me they didn’t have any of “my” rooms available yet and I will have to come back or get an email. I chose the email route but came back twice and was offered the chance to PAY for upgrades or wait. The first upgrade I was offered was for an extra $100 a night, when I declined they said how about $70. It was like talking with a used car dealer, I still declined. Finally at 11:30PM after “checking in” around 11am I was told there were no King rooms left because they were first come first served and they only had two queens. The front desk person who came over to the gentleman I was checking in with was extremely rude and basically told me to take it or leave it. After that conversation escalated a manger finally came out and I was offered a King room with no upgraded charge. I told her how rudely I was treated when they wouldn’t give me the room, I reserved months ago unless I paid for an upgrade she had the gentleman put me in the exact same room I booked but this one had a “better view”. This was not the upgraded room they wanted to charge me for earlier in the day. Now after being charged for and upgrade along with an Early Check In Fee!! which clearly I never received. Who gets a room at 11:30PM and then gets charged for early check in? I called the number offered to inquire about one’s bill, only to be given a different number after a 15 minute conversation. I never demanded the moon or anything free. All I wanted is what I reserved and I was happy to pay for it, and yet even basic Customer Service would not provide me with that until I told them this was unacceptable. I will simply never stay at a Caesars property ever again.…
Parking costumer service was just horrible, very disrespectful and sarcastic guy. He was not willing to listen to the costumers. Spent $900 dollars in this hotel and my room was clean only once out of 5 nights after calling maintenance 4 times… Room was nice, also the person at the front desk was also very nice. Definitely Not coming back after the parking experience.
Pros: great central location, variety of restaurants in the hotel (2 Starbucks), spacious rooms, above average rooms for the price. Cons: our non-smoking rooms consistently smelled of cigarette smoke and marijuana which made our children nauseous, sink faucets and shower faucets were loose in both our rooms. Would we stay there again: yes if we were on a budget.
Hotel is very nice and perfect location. Very good restaurants and clean. Housekeeping could use a refresher on cleaning rooms. Stayed 3 nights and the second night the room wasn’t cleaned, called down to the front desk twice and they said they would look into it but was never done. Rooms are nice and large and bathroom is large as well. The only complaint I have is the housekeeping but other than that was a fantastic stay
I understand cigarette smoke in the casino but our nonsmoking room reeked so badly our simple overnight stay left us with sore throats and burning eyes. Horrible, disappointing experience. If you are a non smoker, this is not the place for you. No one at check out who was willing to hear of my disappointment. When you book no smoking, it shouldn’t be coming through the venting, and you DEFINITELY shouldn't put us in a room that was sold as a smoking room last week! Bedding, carpet, everything smelled like old stale cigarettes. Unacceptable. Shame on you, PH, we expected more from this experience.
At check in we requested a roll away bed for our standard 2 Queen room. There was a $34 (after tax) per night charge. However, they upgraded our room for free in order to fit the rollaway bed. Our room had been freshly updated, and was super nice! This is our second time staying here. Though we love the location and the hotel/casino itself. Our favorite part of PH are the dining and shopping options located there at the Miracle Mile Shops. And if you need more dining options than they offer at the shops. You can step outside, and literally around the corner of the hotel is a McDonalds, Taco Bell, Nacho Daddy's, Buffalo Wild Wings, and a few other options. They are in the middle of renovating the Miracle Mile Shops and exterior areas of the building as well. I'm looking forward to returning and seeing the finished product!…
We choose Planet Hollywood for the location. We had two rooms. One of the rooms we had 4 people. We noticed that we only had 3 towels for showers so I went to find a maid so I can get additional towels. The maid was snappy with me and told me they’re not allowed to hand out more and I needed to call housekeeping so they can track the amount of towels we have. Needless to say after an hour finally got a few extra towels. Rooms were clean, and the pool area was really nice. However do not purchase a frozen margarita un less you’re willing to pay $22.00 for one. Price was outrageous! Love that Military Veterans get free Valet parking!
Rooms, hallways, and elevators were dirty. Check in took a while and the people at the front desk were horrible. Not very knowledgeable at all. Decent location, but the filth and attitudes ruined it for us.
Planet Hollywood Booked for 5 nights with Virgin. Arrived about 8 pm, getting through passport control took about 45 minutes. After collecting our luggage we booked an Uber, go to level V, a bit of a walk but by the time we got there our Uber was waiting. Check in only took about 15 minutes. Our room, we couldn't have asked for a better view, looking straight out to the strip and we could see the fountain display at the Bellagio hotel. Massive bed, fridge, air con, huge bathroom with shower, toiletries , loads of towels, lots of wardrobe hangers and a safe, reasonably clean. Or room was cleaned ever day but was not necessary. Great location for food and a supermarket just outside. We visited all the casino's so ensure you have good walking shoes, in the evenings a little bit blowy so take layers. Food, hit and miss, some places super expensive and not worth the money, do your research as you can get hot dogs and pieces for around $5 but also can pay $15. We aren't big drinkers but on one occasion pay £38 for 2 drinks, not cocktails, in EatItaly, avoid!. Some casino's were no smoking but most you could, the air filtering system worked well in the higher end casino's. Not sure if cannabis smoking is legal but a huge amount of people smoking this outside and in the casino's. Visit downtown, Freemont street, very safe. We got an Uber there for $13 but also got a 24 hour Deuce bus ticket for $8. Lots of bus stops at all the hotels and the bus runs 24/7. It's an experience not too miss! People are very friendly and helpful but tipping is expected apart from the fast food cafe's. Checking out, you can leave you bagge in left luggage, which s free as long as not overnight. Check out took around 45 minutes, they need more staff in the lobby area, and no where to sit inside unless at a machine, bar or restaurant, not even in the lobby. Would I recommend this hotel, yes! It's a bit dated in areas, could do with a sign on bedroom door to advise housekeeping if you want/need your room cleaned. Had a great time but not sure I would return as there are other places I would like to visit. L …
We stayed here for 3 nights after staying 4 nights at the Bellagio. I would choose Planet Hollywood every time. We had excellent service in multiple restaurants and we had a blast in the casino. We enjoyed Yolos, Cafe Hollywood, Earl of Sandwich, Blondies, and several of the shops in Miracle Mile. The slot machines were great! Old ones and new ones, everything you love. Stadium Craps was the most fun we had all over Vegas!
