If your staying at the Stratosphere and want a great breakfast special for only $3.99, go next door to a hole in the ground hotel called the Aztec Inn. While the hotel and casino is a bit scudzy, the restaurant (which is actually on Las Vegas Blvd.) is actually a great little place for breakfast lunch and dinner. In particular...

The Casino itself is pretty 'basic' with it appears mainly local clientele. The $5 Restaurant however was a great find and tge quality of food far surpassed what was expected. Really flavoursome and really recommended!

So this is not a classy joint. But it is a good place for a cheap feed, and as many $1 PBR's as you can manage. The accommodation is nearby, and looked to be at the lower end of the spectrum. There are some seedy elements that make their way into the bar, and some scammers, but this is Las...

We stayed at the Stratosphere which is right across the road , but used to go into the Aztec to eat sometimes and play the slots , Now if you like Glitz and glamour this place is not for you , The staff are friendly, the locals are like any typical pub anywhere in the world with the exception of...

This hole in the wall has an identity crisis to say the least. Inn, casino, Internet cafe that serves a mixture of Thai/American food, and ice cream. Didn't actually stay here. Stayed at the Stratosphere Located right across the street. No table games but a handful of slot machines and video poker games around the bar. 1 pool table and...

Simple, laid back and cheap bar in the middle of Vegas. Right opposite the Strat. Cafe inside is a bit overpriced but the bar makes up for it. Staff are all friendly, place is mainly filled with locals.

Wandered in to grab breakfast and was wow-ed! Expected nothing better than a grubby diner but the food was FRESH, service was awesome and price for 3 was $26.00. I had Thai breakfast, grown daughter had something she loved (cant recall), and my husband had his typical mid-western breakfast. Should have been recommended by a local but it wasn't.

We were here for a pool tournament and found this spot right across the street from the Stratosphere hotel. The location is not the best and a little suspect. I was definitely expecting the food to be a waste like all the other bland food here in Vegas. I'm from Chicago (food heaven) and currently live in the south (home...

The AZTEC is mostly an inexpensive cocktail bar. Inexpensive = $2.00 well drinks !!! Plus some slot machines. Plus some property in the back for cheap motel rooms. Like $130 per week. And see the last line in this post. There is a restraunt in the corner, but that is not the main attraction. I ate there a year ago,...

I am a frequent traveler. August of 2012 I made my ninth trip to Vegas. In my many years I have eaten at thousands of buffets. When you walk in to the Aztec's pizza buffet a sign says "please seat yourself." I assumed this to mean that you help yourself and they bring you a check. I was wondering why...
