We've been to this buffet 3 or 4 times over the years, always felt it was topnotch, so we made the drive to go again last evening from our resort on the Strip. We especially chose Friday evening because of the seafood buffet special, boy, were we in shock. Peel and eat shrimp - soggy and floppy - overcooked. Salmon...

hadn't been to vegas in 18 yrs. Wow what a change, thru the 50's, 60's and 70's, always went a week with my parents to the "little desert town", that seemed to have a lot more class in those days, everyone dressed to the 9's. Seemed like much cleaner, classier etStayed at the MGM grand mainly to see Ka. Which...

quaint but lots to play. Love sitting at the bar and have a microbrew and play video poker. The buffett is great. Always a pleasant stay and a short walk to Fremont Street for the action and great to go back to Main Street for quiet nights sleep.

I've been coming to Main Street Station for the last 25 years, first knowing the property when it was Rosie O'Grady's in the early '90's. The desk and bell crew are always friendly and quick, the rooms are clean and usually quiet (train can be loud if on a low, south-facing room). The food in the buffet is especially good...

Lovely hotel, very quaint. Rooms were fairly basic but clean and comfortable. The location is very good - it's a few minutes walk from Fremont Street and at night we cut through the California Hotel as they have a walkway linking the two. This enabled us to avoid walking the streets at night (as it is very quiet round there)...

As the casinos in Vegas get more and more expensive it is nice to have a casino that is old Vegas. It is fun to gamble and win. It is fun to gamble when the machines are not set so tight no one wins. Main Street has great food, great gambling, great rooms, and a great location near the downtown...

WE just stayed there this early May,its downtown vegas area, soem good some not so good aspects of this hotel/casino,we were on the 16th floor, you would think that high up the highway noise road traffic next door would not be so loud, but it is,there is also train tracks nearby,so guess what about that in the middle of the night, but other than...

We've been to this casino many times to gamble and to eat. This was our first stay and we'll be back. We normally stay on the strip but the costs there have gotten ridiculous with the resort fees and paid parking. This place could use some sprucing up but I love the New Orleans, old world ambiance. All the restaurants...

The Main Street Station invited my sister & I for a slot tournament, giving us 3 free nites. We have stayed here in the past, so we jumped @ chance. It was also my & my husband's anniversary. @ Main Street, they don't have a resort fee (which so many of the hotels on the strip do) & they don't...

I really liked this hotel - the room was very comfortable and spacious and is very close to the Freemont street district with its trendy bars and restaurants. The buffet in the hotel was good and excellent value and above all the hotel is an absolute bargain. I have paid four times as much for a worse hotel room!
