Had a very enjoyable stay on the 30'th floor, room vas very clean, quiet and modern, liked the quick security check at the main floor elevators, access to Walgreens, fridge in the room, closet safe were all very nice touches. Price was also very fair.
stayed at treasure island because the rate was incredible even with the rip off resort fee. We stayed at TI because we had come to Las Vegas to see the Britney piece of me show which is the best show I've ever seen in my...More
TI was great to stay in. Was not a big fan of the pool hours, or the security guard that checked my bag repeatedly- not the morning guard. The walls in the hotel are extremely thin, amd we could hear our neighbors on the phone....More
My family spent 3 nights at TI in August. We picked this hotel mostly because of its location (right on the strip) and the great value (our room came with 2 free tickets to Cirque Du Soleil's Mystere show which was very good btw..) I'm...More
I really like Treasure Island Hotel. The price is fair (except for the absurd resort fees that I honestly feel should be just included in the Hotel Reservation - it's not right to charge a decent hotel fee and then tack on $28 per night...More

It might be a problem, especially if it is a comped (free room). The person who was offered the free or discounted room by the Hotel must be present at checkin with their I.D. Otherwise just book it in your parents name and pay for it. As others have mentioned the CC at checkin is for incidental charges such as PPV movies and dining charged to your room. It never hurts to call the hotel and ask what their policies are based on your specific situation.
