After spending 1500/week I was hoping to have hot water for my showers but instead cold showers half the time. When I brought it up there was hardly an apology. Not what I expected from a prestigious resort.
This was our second time at the Venetian. You can't beat the location or the suites. I really liked how there was a separate living room so if someone wanted to sleep and someone else wanted to watch TV or just enjoy the incredible views (from the upgraded view) this was easily accomplished. The bathrooms are wonderful - shower and bath separated from the toilet, two sinks, make up table with stool and lit up mirror. It was over 100 degrees when we went in August, but you didn't even have to leave the air conditioned hotel if you did not want to. The Canal Shoppes are attached to the hotel, plenty of places to eat are in the hotel or the Canal Shoppes. You can get to the casino at the Venetian or the Palazzo without going outside. We had a view of the pools so you could see how busy they were or if there were any lounge chairs available. Hundreds of slots to chose from. Just a wonderful and classy hotel. Loved our stay!…
My husband always wanted to stay at this resort so we booked a 3 night stay April 2022. It was a bit pricey compared to other resorts in Vegas. Room was very clean and cozy, bed was super comfy, housekeeping & room service were great. We ate a majority of our meals via room service because the food there was amazing. Try the lasagna and stuffed French toast you will not be disappointed! Two Walgreens nearby (one on the resort) that you can purchase drinks, toiletries, etc. Location was perfect for the activities we wanted to do/see outside of the resort and were walkable. And if you want to stay on the resort you have your pick of different restaurants and activities to choose from- Win/win. We would stay here again.
My fiance and I had a package deal for our wedding in Vegas. When we arrived at the Venetian the clerk begged us to upgrade for 150 a night. We agreed but they've charged us a full 600 dollars for 4 nights even though we already paid for the basic room through the package deal. They are refusing to refund any money because they're claiming we "canceled" our original reservation. What a terrible Ripoff, I'm going to sue them. When we got to our upgraded room the shower was filthy with big clumps of hair in it. It's a huge place and every employee we asked for directions was surly and rude.
Hotel is just too big meaning its packed with people everywhere . Lots of designer shops. Like being in a shopping mall on steroids . OK if you like that kind of thing . Completely impersonal and like a production line. Everything is expensive, partly due to exchange rate but the whole resort reflects this scenario. The rooms are plush and impressive as are the internals all around. Be aware that when you come to check out, the hotel charges almost £50 plus tax per night per room for a "resort charge", when questioned what this was for we were told it covers incidentals, wifi access etc!. Just a rip off and you have to pay it. Restaurants are mixed in quality, some provide excellent food but some are more like fast food outlets.. if you like a good range of vegetables to be available within a menu, forget it. Portions oversize and expensive generally.. average meal costs in a decent restaurant £45... glass of wine...£12-15!, a beer...£10, soft drinks £5, again partly due to exchange rate, budget £100 for a decent 1 course meal for 2 with an alcoholic drink. All staff were polite and friendly …
Horrible room. Refrigerator and Snack tray rummaged through before first access to room. Room appeared to be still used. Request to get new room was denied. Phone not working, Lamps not working. Walls damaged. Rug filthy
It is always a wonderful experience at the Venetian. The suite was perfect, clean and well kept. The restaurants were fantastic. We tried Noodle Asia for the first time. It was delicious. We enjoyed the casino at the Venetian. My husband enjoys the virtual roulette machine and I enjoyed the slot machines.
Besides being one of the most beautiful hotels on the strip the choice of restaurants and shopping and atmosphere is a notch above. Great selection of slot machines if that’s your preference. You also have choice of checking in online which shortens your wait a tremendous amount of time especially during mid day busy time.
Our first time to stay, we had a great time close to shopping. Food was great loved the croissants from the bakery. Room service was good loved to have it looking out the window. Would definitely stay again.
This hotel was absolutely amazing, the whole experience left us in awe. The detail throughout the hotel was exceptional. Our room was spacious and welcoming! The shopping throughout the building was plentyful. Lots of coffee options in the morning. Restaurant selection was incredible, lots of different choices. Staff were generally friendly and polite. If your able to stay here at the Venetian you won't be disappointed by any means. Check the Gondola and Madam Tussands Museum lots fun!
