We booked this day of and was pleasantly shocked how nice it was! They upgraded us to a suite for free and it was amazing. Living room, two bathrooms etc. would definitely stay again. They are going thru a remodel and redoing the pool.
We got a great price to stay at Monte Carlo so took our chances after reading all the bad reviews on here.
We knew when arriving that renovations were taking place and that there was no pool so we knew what to expect. The pools...More
Rooms were equivalent to a Motel6 without Motel6's customer service. If you can go somewhere else on the strip, I highly recommend it. Avoid the hour standing in line to check in, the hidden fees and the rooms from the 40's. We asked for a...More
Myself & my husband stayed here for 5 nights in June 2017. The hotel is typical Vegas, big & brash, but clean, with large rooms (though the casino is unusually small). On the downside, the pool area was completely closed due to renovation work and...More

I was there in June. There were construction noises starting in the morning after nine but we spent very little time in our room so it didn't bother us. We didn't mind walking over to the MGM to use the pool there. The beds were clean and comfortable but the rest of the room decor was old and outdated. Overall the renovations did not disrupt our stay, we had a great time. But like I said, we didn't spend a lot of time in our rooms, it was just a place to sleep.
