Booked this hotel through Priceline Express deal. Supposed newly remolded rooms classify it as a four star hotel. We stayed mid-week in a "deluxe" king upgraded room and it was not 4 star quality. This was a 3 star hotel from pool, casino, to room. Although the rooms were clean and the beds comfortable, there were no 4 star amenities...

I went to Vegas with both of my brothers to celebrate the little bro's 21st birthday. This was the perfect location on the strip - I knew I wanted a hotel close to all the action but not overly crowded or noisy. The Tropicana was perfect for this! The staff were super friendly and the rooms were exceptionally clean. The...

The large rooms seem to have been renovated. Furniture is nice and in good shape. Room was clean. However, it seems that the bathtubs aren't part of "the new Tropicana" (mold spots and random stains). Staff at the Lobby is friendly and efficient. Internet works once you figure it out. Finally, the player's club '200$ deal' is kind of a...

One thing that makes our trip to the Tropicana amazing are the cocktail waitresses. We enjoy gambling without moving around too much. Patrick L and I recently went on a trip to the Tropicana for his birthday on July 18th. We stayed at the Tropicana as per our usual trip to Vegas. We saw Lady Gaga and Mama Mia! After...

I have booked a 2 queen beds room but disclaimer says "Bed types are guaranteed". I did a late check-in after drive from Los Angeles. They initially said, they don't have any 2 queen beds and allotted only one King size bed and promised they will provide an extra bed. We are 4 members. we have been waiting for an...

I have stayed at this property twice in the last few years. They have remodeled some of the rooms and I would recommend paying the extra upgrade fee for the newer tower. As far as the location, it is generally acceptable, although I do prefer to be further north on Las Vegas Blvd. The Tropicana has a nice pool and...

Enjoyed my trip the the Tropicana. One of the smaller hotels with plenty of good features. A nice pool, a big casino, some shops, and nice rooms. Wifi was also available and the bus stop to the door, that takes you to the rest of the strip, is great!

News of a massive renovation, awesome pool for kids, and Double Tree brand got us to spend Hilton points to try this place out. Reality hit us quickly with a an hotel entry that came from the 70's, and an enormously time consuming check-in routine where we stood amongst many disgusted Hilton Honors members who had been waiting hours to...

We visited the recently renovated Tropicana for a staycation in June. We had avoided this property for years as it went through numerous financial disasters. The renovation looks good and we were impressed with both the accommodations and the service. Two really negative votes: the only restaurant available for breakfast was essentially a crowded buffet. As a buffet, it qualifies...

On first appearances the room looked very welcoming, clean and spacious. We were soon disappointed to find there was no fridge, safe or coffee making facilities. The fridge and safe could be arranged at reception, but it would be nice to have it as standard. I suspect the lack of coffee making facilities was due to the fact that there...
