I stayed for six weeks and absolutely had a wonderful experience. The entire staff was extremely friendly and service oriented. I have stayed at the Excalibur for many trips and my vacations have always been positive.
The hotel rooms did not have mini fridge, microwave or safe. It basically just had a bed and a T V. We've stayed in other hotels in Vegas but this one was lacking - in everything. The bathroom fixtures had rust on them. It's as if they tried to spruce up the rooms but took short-cuts in quality.
More security when going to the suite. Lack of service. Waitress tend to ignore their guess. Overall it’s an ok stay. Just scary when no one is watching who comes in and out. Minors are in the middle of the casino and sitting on the slots. Who watches them?
We stayed before and liked it so that’s why we went back we love the casino and all the slots the food court is also very good we love the buffet a good deal for what is offered never leave there hungry
The room was dated and in much need of renovation with just an overall dirty feel, (things that mattered were clean such as linens, towels and bathroom items but the rundown look of the carpet, wallpaper and light fixtures and maintenance quick fixes just made it seem immediately like I should have done more research.) The pool area was nice with friendly staff and drinks/food were brought to us quickly and with good quality. We rented a daybed at the reservation only pool and all was good with the exception of the large amount of kids that ended up taking over the pool but this is to be expected at a budget resort with no adult only pool area. We visited the brunch buffet which was in my opinion not bad, food was tasty and good quality with just enough options to be fun. All in all we had a nice weekend and enjoyed the property with the exception of the actual room but I knew booking it I was only looking for a place for us to be able to shower, change and sleep so I can't say I was caught off guard. Had I been looking for a romantic time in a room I would suggest looking elsewhere as the overall feeling when walking in the first time was a bit of a shock.…
