My daughter and I flew down from Vancouver, BC, for a wedding, shared a large bedroom on the 15th floor of the old tower. Beds were comfortable, nice view, spotless, stayed 4 nights, but couldn't wait to leave because of no relief from heavy smoke throughout the main floor which permeated your clothes and your hair. Absolutely no seating available...

The rooms here are clean & comfortable. There is nothing fancy about them, or for that matter the casino but the prices are way below what you will pay downtown (the Sands is 2 blocks off So. Virgina) or at Peppermilll. The bars offer super deals on drinks and there is an adequate selection of table games and all the...

The rooms are average size for two people and have plenty of room for a single. They are clean, however can be noisy, which is to be expected in a casino hotel. There is a grocery store and plenty of places to eat within walking distance. Water pressure in my room was below average. I had one breakfast in the...

on hotels.com. $20/night per room. We had 2 rooms and asked not to be next door to each other. They gave us across the hall. Spa and pool were in decent enough condition that we didn't mind going in for a dip. Rooms were spacious and clean. Amenities were great. I'd definitely do that again.

Ok if your looking for a 5 start this is not it. IF you are looking for a decent room, with good beds at a good price this is a good pick. I stayed for here 4 nights from 5-16 to 5-19. Had no issues with my room and thought that for the price it was a very good deal....

I had gone there over the Memorial Day weekend, renting three rooms for my family. They have three towers. Instead of putting us in the same tower, since I had made the reservations two months in advance, they put two rooms in one tower and they gave me a room in the oldest tower - I'm guessing it was built...

Clean but dated hotel in need of refurbishment but, at the price, you can't really complain. Staff were helpful and efficient. The room was large and comfortable, with a great view but definitely in need of a lick of paint. We enjoyed the diner. Great, traditional American food and a good breakfast.

The Sands is my inexpensive place to stay when I'm up for the night. It's an ok Hotel with very cheap drinks pretty good food for the price. The rooms are out dated but clean but some of the room has some amazing views. I'll give the Sands 2 and a half stars and I only stay there if I...

We reserved rooms at the Sands because of the price. The rooms are okay for the price. However, a lot of the staff really aren't friendly, the elevators are slow or broken, and there was never more than 2 employees (which were slow paced) at the registration desk and the lines were very long. The housekeeping staff were friendly and...

This was a clean room for a good price. Starting to see upgrades to this ageing hotel. The water was hot when you needed it. New carpeting and wallpaper in the hallways. New comfortable bedding. No resort fees.
