The villas at Red Hawk are a great alternative to casino hotels for anyone wanting to vacation or do business in the Reno area without dealing with the casinos or seedy neighborhoods. Facilities are family-friendly, units are comfortable, clean and secure. When staying a week or more, we prefer the center units which have full kitchens, but all of the...

Generous portions. Burgers, sandwiches, etc. Hit or miss with servers. Usually there are enough waiters/waitresses, but seem to congregate at one end of restaurant so customers have limited access to them. They're busy talking. This restaurant is owned by the Peppermill.

Good little track, in ten years with some mature pines will be prettier but well laid out! Good practice greens - mats for driving so not that good but seems many places in Reno use matts. Snack bar has good choices too!

Red Hawk is a very nice family-friendly resort, with villas convenient to their beautiful golf course, country club, pools, and fitness center. We’ve stayed here twice on family vacations (4 nights last year and 6 nights this year) and both times it was an extraordinarily pleasant experience. Depending on the villa model booked, you can have all the conveniences of...

We stayed at the Villas, upscale condos, with another couple. We each had our own room and bathroom, and we shared the living room and kitchen area. The furnishings were great and the bed comfortable. It's a short walk to the golf course and to David's Restaurant. A great place to stay. The only down side was that the kitchen...

This resort has 3 "villas" with a total of I believe 9 rooms so it is very small. There are two golf courses on site and a restaurant. If you are primarily interested in golf, this is an excellent place to stay and golf courses are very good and a reasonable price. However, if you are interested in seeing sights,...

Villas, not a standard hotel, nice & quiet. The fold out bed on the first level was lumpy and uncomfortable, to be expected as it is a fold out, but I think it might be time to replace. There was no top sheet, which we did not discover until midnight, nothing to be done, as the desk is not available....

Not wanting to stay in the downtown area, and my husband wanting to check out the golf course, we decided upon The Resort at Red Hawk. Lodging there consists of only 9 units, but they were large (the smallest at 598 sq. feet) and well appointed. The bathroom, with a jacuzzi tub, was HUGE. The units each have a fold-out...

My husband and I recently stayed in the parlor suite as he was playing in a tournament being held on the Hills course. Our suite was very large with a fully equipped kitchen. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I took a walk around the resort and the grounds are beautiful. I was a little disappointed...

My husband stayed in the Parlor Loft Suite. It was so beautiful. Check in is in the same area as the restaurant, golf check in and golf store. The gal who helped us check in was very helpful and kind. The Suite was huge. It had a washer and dryer in the entrance closet. You need to bring your own soap....
