We really enjoyed our stay. The very clean bathroom, with seperate shower and tub and 2 sinks, plus great towels, made it so easy for 2 people get ready at the same time. We enjoyed the view and sitting area by window. The bed was very comfortable. It would have been nice to have a coffee pot in the room,...

My first time at Lake Tahoe, there are only 4 real choices of large hotels in the area, Hurrahs, Hard Rock, Montblu and Harvey's (Harvey's and Hurrahs are owned by Caesars) so you would think they would be comparable. I reserved a Premium non smoking room - what I got was a very dated room with cigarette burn holes in...

Above average overall visit. Service was a little slow but dealers were pleasant for the most part. Some dealing/ moving a little slow for my liking . I had a room at Harrahs but did most of my gambling at Harveys

Of course this is a casino so they don't want you to stay in your room. I would call the room "skimpy". It was clean enough but few amenities. The room seemed to almost shake as we walked. The walls seemed thin and the elevator gears could be heard inside the room.

When you get to your room you realize is an old property. With outdated wallpaper and curtains. The room was very spacious and the bathroom too. Very clean and very comfortable. Nice bedding. The restaurants on site are very expensive you are better off going out of the premises to eat.

For people wanting to experience the alpine ambience of Lake Tahoe, do not book this hotel. It's huge and a bit of an eyesore on the scenic drive down to South Lake Tahoe. This maybe because it is just over the state line into Nevada. It doesn't seem to fit in with it landscape. However, Rooms are a good size...

We don't spend much time in the room. Most rooms are more updated and comfortable then the last one we stayed in. Just don't get a room up the elevator shaft (Room 10 on each floor). We've stayed at Harvey's many times and usually love it. They have a great summer concert series and you can ski all winter. Also...
