Hi KwajDog! We love "ohh yea" as a guest review! The Mucker Irish Red Ale is made by the Tonopah Brewing Company just down the street (also owned by Fred and Nancy Cline, who own the Mizpah). The hotel was one of the first luxury hotels in Nevada, so yes, it is classic. Next time you're here, try a night...

Restored hotel, saloon dating back to 1907, now includes 2 restaurants and casino. Turn of the century decor guest rooms with modern conveniences. I received excellent service by staff, found guest room very comfortable. Within driving distance to other historic Nevada towns and ghost towns, Manhattan, Goldfield, Miller's. Sights nearby include Tonopah Mining Park/Museum, Tonopah Cemetery, & Central Nevada Museum....

Thank you for your great review! Our staff works tirelessly to provide each guest with excellent service because we see each guest as an extended member of the Mizpah family. The nearby ghost towns are truly remarkable for their mixture of history and fun, and we are getting ready for our Mardi Gras party (Feb. 28), St. Patrick's Day party...

We stayed at the Mizpah one night, had breakfast and left. We enjoyed the experience. The hotel has been beautifully restored to early American décor. The elevator is the original, though I suspect the works have been upgraded. Staff was friendly, amenities just fine. We were on the fifth floor, one room away from the Lady in Red Room. A...

Thanks for your review, Harvey. You're exactly right about the elevator - it was the first electric-powered elevator in Nevada in 1908 when we first opened our doors, and yes, it has since been upgraded. And while the noises you heard may have been other guests, well... we have many guests tell us of strange experiences they can't explain. We...

We stopped here to eat supper. It was on a Sunday night, in late January so it was not busy. The 2 waiters took time to answer our questions about the area's history. Our sandwiches were very good. We did not stay at the motel but we would like to next time we come thru on our way to Arizona.

This is truly an oasis in the desert. It's the only place to stay in Tonopah, or for that matter, anywhere between Reno and Las Vegas. The rooms are beautifully decorated in period furniture as is the lobby and the bar. The lobby bar is a wonderful place to have some dinner and spend the evening after a long day...

The Mizpah Hotel is like stepping back in time. The owners have retained the quaint, authentic feel of this hotel while providing modern amenities. Rooms have nice antique furnishings and each is themed. We ate at the restaurant on site and it was very good food with excellent service. Bar was nice and had excellent service as well. Played some...

My friend and I stayed in the Mizpah for one night at the end of December and it was absolutely fantastic. It is a real privilege being able to stay in a hotel with such rich history. Despite it being under 20 degrees outside with snow on the ground, the hotel and the room were very warm and cozy. We...

Touring around the SW on a family holiday, we stopped over in Tonopah to break up the long drive from Tahoe to Kanab and managed to book a room at The Mizpah on the night they were holding their Halloween Party!
