The best service! We were greeted at the front door and after a brief tour of this amazing log cabin style lodge we were served freshly baked warm cookies. The experience continued when we entered our room. The Cowboy room was accented perfectly and the steam shower was a welcome relief. The quality of the bed and bedding was excellent...

The Bear Mountain Lodge was the ideal place to stay for our "get away weekend." We were in the area for a wedding at a large resort nearby and wanted a quiet place to relax, get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy nature. We found everything we were looking for at this idyllic lodge. Our hosts', Michael and...

My husband and I spent 4 nights at the BML right after Christmas and had an absolutely wonderful time. Carol and Michael bend over backwards to accomodate all their guests in every way possible. The room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfasts were outstanding, something new and delicious every morning. The lodge is back in...

My (then) fiance and I booked the elopement package at the Bear Mountain Lodge. Michael and Carol (and their two kids!) are sweethearts, and so willing to do whatever is necessary to make your stay enjoyable. The elopement package was perfect for us-- we couldn't be happier that we chose Bear Mountain Lodge for our special day/weekend. My husband and...

We had a great stay at Bear Mountain Lodge, we stayed in the Angler room. The bed was super comfy, the room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and just gorgeous. On the first night when we came back from a great night at The Social down the road (great burgers Pick!) we took advantage of the outdoor spa, towels are...

In a forest clearing so you can see the stars and a great view of Mount Washington. A fantastic building, a REAL log cabin, excellent facilities and hospitality in a relaxed and easy going atmosphere. Just what you need after a long drive. Good breakfast.

Exceptional service, beautiful views, comfortable rooms, amazing breakfasts, and I could go on and on. Truly a wonderful establishment and Michael and Carol are perfectly hospitable. We are already making plans to visit again once the snow flies. The lodge, rooms and views are actually more beautiful in person.

I liked the Bear Mountain Lodge, especially the fact that it was off the road, very rare for accomodations in this area. It's in a very pretty setting, and the innkeepers are eager to please. However I do think it was overpriced by about 30% (for example $300/night for a room during peak foliage)! We enjoyed our time there ....

We're so happy that this guest had a nice time and appreciated how much special attention we give to all of our guests. As for the reference to the $300 a night during prime foliage - it is common practice in all foliage locations throughout New England to have an increase during that time. We do have rooms that are...

We spent one night in the Angler Room at Bear Mountain Lodge - what a special experience! Every room is decorated with a unique "mountain/wilderness" theme - but each is decorated with great detail this lodge, which is only 5 years old. Even the bathroom shower curtain and decor match the theme of the room. There was no expense spared...

Beautiful log house built recently by the owner Michael. He was very hospitable and entertaining. We stayed in one of the smaller rooms but it was still excellent, very warm and charming. There was great views of Mt Washington from the balcony. It was very pleasant to sit in the lounge by the fireplace in the evening after a day...
