My husband and I spent 2 lovely evenings at Michael and Carol's beautiful B&B log cabin. They were waiting by the door to greet us. The Elk room was accessible and my gluten free diet was accomodated with every meal. The view of Mt. Washington and nature is unbeatable and you could relax in the Great room any time of... More

It was such a treat to stay in an authentic, yet refined, log cabin, with an awesome and inspiring view of the White Mountains. It doesn't get better than that setting. It was by far the best bed and breakfast we have stayed at, including Hawaii, and we have stayed at many! The interior was warm and inviting, each room... More

We love the way the lodge is being built and decorated. The rooms (Cowboy Roundup and Whitetail which we stayed for 3 nights) are superb, clean and comfortable. The breakfast served was delicious too. Would recommend to anyone who love to be close to nature.

Spent 4 wonderful days in Bear Mountain Lodge. The rooms were spacious and very well equipped. Our host Michael provided us with lots of invaluable tips and hints where to find interesting hiking trails, how to get to those places, where to find wildlife etc. He and his whole family did everything to let us feel comfortable and "at home".... We had a wonderful time at the Bear Mountain Lodge celebrating our one year anniversary! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome, including drinks and cookies! The small touches make a huge difference! Carol and Michael are the perfect hosts. The view is fantastic off the deck, the warm fire is exactly what is needed... More

I was initially apprehensive about staying at the Inn because at the age of 21 we are quite a bit younger than most travelers, and I wasn't sure how we would be treated in such an intimate setting. My apprehension was quickly removed by Michael and Carol who were both incredible hosts. We stayed in the Wild Turkey room, and... More

This is an incredible B&B! The lodge itself is incredible, the hosts Michael and Carol are incredible, our room, our bed and the view of the White Mountains were incredible, but (because there is always a “but”) the price is also incredible, as in incredibly high. Of course, we knew what the price was when we booked a room at... More

I myself was travelling this week in RI for business and stayed at a lovely hotel. It's funny because as an Innkeeper I'm always comparing B&Bs to hotels to see what the value is and how we compare. My hotel was $229 a night plus tax and was smaller than many of our rooms. I then started adding up all... More

I wanted to do something special for my husband's birthday. He has a burning desire to see a moose and we love to hike, so we decided to head up to New Hampshire. I found the Bear Mountain Lodge on line and it looked good and they had the room I wanted available. Mike was a fantastic host--he took care... More

My husband and I spent Labor Day weekend at Bear Mountain Lodge as part of our Babymoon. We stayed in the Wild Turkey room and it was fabulous. The bed was beautiful and super comfortable and my husband made good use of the jacuzzi after climbing Mt. Washington. The 2-course breakfasts were very tasty and Michael and Carol were great...
