My husband & I are very particular about where we stay and we can't say enough positive things about the lodge. If you are looking for gorgeous views, extremely clean accommodations, wonderful service and a delicious breakfast....then you must take a trip to the Bear Mountain Lodge. Michael & Carol will make you feel like family the moment you walk...

I was initially apprehensive about staying at the Inn because at the age of 21 we are quite a bit younger than most travelers, and I wasn't sure how we would be treated in such an intimate setting. My apprehension was quickly removed by Michael and Carol who were both incredible hosts. We stayed in the Wild Turkey room, and...

This is an incredible B&B! The lodge itself is incredible, the hosts Michael and Carol are incredible, our room, our bed and the view of the White Mountains were incredible, but (because there is always a “but”) the price is also incredible, as in incredibly high. Of course, we knew what the price was when we booked a room at...

I myself was travelling this week in RI for business and stayed at a lovely hotel. It's funny because as an Innkeeper I'm always comparing B&Bs to hotels to see what the value is and how we compare. My hotel was $229 a night plus tax and was smaller than many of our rooms. I then started adding up all...

I wanted to do something special for my husband's birthday. He has a burning desire to see a moose and we love to hike, so we decided to head up to New Hampshire. I found the Bear Mountain Lodge on line and it looked good and they had the room I wanted available. Mike was a fantastic host--he took care...

My husband and I spent Labor Day weekend at Bear Mountain Lodge as part of our Babymoon. We stayed in the Wild Turkey room and it was fabulous. The bed was beautiful and super comfortable and my husband made good use of the jacuzzi after climbing Mt. Washington. The 2-course breakfasts were very tasty and Michael and Carol were great...

I rarely take the time to write a review, but this place was wonderful!! Beautiful rooms in great location with tons to do in the White Mountain region. It has not even been a week since out trip and I will be calling to make a reservation for the winter season. This place is beautiful and inn keepers are very...

When Mike asked me how our stay was going, I cleverly quipped, "Tripadvisor doesn't lie." The myriad of glowing reviews on this site should be all of the proof you need to trust that you will find beautiful mountain views, peace and quiet, tranquility, romance, and a quaint taste of rural NH should you visit this lovely lodge. Although we...

How often are our first impressions the lasting ones? From the moment we stepped out of the car to walking out the door for home, Mike and Carol made our long weekend a truly enjoyable, relaxing and fun experience. Without a doubt, the lodge itself and the delicious breakfasts definitely stand out, yet it's the subtle things during our stay...
