My family and I went to Cove for 18 years straight and it was such a wonderful experience. I was very disappointed to see it close but we all made unforgettable memories there as well as friends that treated us like family. The staff was always willing to help and knew us all by name. Everyone was very welcoming and...

I called just the day before and only needed a site for 1-night. When requesting a grassy/sunny site, i was told they're all basically in the trees. The fee was reasonable, as when I arrived I was actually given a choice of sites right at the front of the park, and they were very handy to the beach (for my...

We just spent the Labour Day weekend here. It was lovely. We were travelling with three teenagers, and they loved the dock. And there was a lot for them to do in the main office: pool, fusball, etc. My only quibble is they should get rid of the Wifi...that's not good for teenagers! Lovely sites. Quiet, lots of trees, lots...

I spent the weekend at Cove Camping area. It's what I would call a 'real' camping area--camp sites, a lake, and no constant activities, golf carts driving by, or shows going on like at some other camping areas. Some sites were nice--large and wooded. However, many, like ours were small or had no place for cars. I had to park...

First of all, the phone was answered with a grumpy "hello" when I called to check availability for a few campsites. I wanted to book two sites for 6-8 RESPONSIBLE adults, but when I said 'adults' the women LAUGHED over the phone and said 'no'. Mind you I hadn't even given her the dates yet and all she could do...

We've camped here twice this summer. Which says enough for me to want to come back. Let me start with saying, I just started liking camping last year, normally I'm a 4 star + hotel lover, but camping disconnects me from the world I like that. We have 3 kids, only 2 camp with us, 6yrs and barely 2 yr...

If you are tent camper with a boat, this is a perfect spot. If you want RV amenities like 120 volts to run an AC or Microwave in your RV, this is not a good choice. We camped here with friends, they had a nice lakefront site and we were nearby on site 19, gravel was reasonably level and we...
