We had a great cabin right next to the lake. Our rustic cottage gave us all the amenities needed to survive a wonderful week under the country ski. Our cottage was clean and there was plenty of room in the kitchen to make a meal. The kitchen had all the necessary utensils and all linen was available. We'll be back....

We stayed here in late summer and wanted to leave within the first hour. We picked Birch because it looked the best on the web and was "updated". It smelled really badly of dog, the kitchen had a greasy/sticky film everywhere, the carpet was dirty and ripped in the living area, there was no soap in the bathroom, only half...

Absolutely disgusting motel. Rooms were filthy, office showed the owner is a hoarder, and several people stay here that are long term and had severe pet odors coming from rooms. I stay at budget hotels. This is a sub human hotel. Don't think about staying here.

We traveled here the first weekend in August and stayed in Birch..which from looking at pictures of all the cottages seemed to be the most "updated". At first the cottage seemed okay but upon further inspection it was overall very dirty. The floors felt like they were covered in dirt, there were dead bugs on the sink, the shower tub...

We have stayed here for two years in a row and like it. We stay in "Oak" which can sleep 7 and has 2 full bathrooms, air conditioning, TV, kitchen, and a balcony right on the water. Clean and quiet. Spec, the owner is a nice guy and always has taken good care of us. We didn't notice any outside...

We spent the weekend with friends end of July and had a very nice stay. The cottages are comfortable. Sure they could use some maintenance, but this is not the Four Seasons, not did we expect that. Sitting on the dock was very relaxing, only wish there were additional canoes or boats to take out on the lake as they...

If you are a frat boy used to a beer soaked rug, cigarette smoke and moldy linens, this is your place. The photos reflect the magic of PhotoShop and excellent cropping. If you are younger than 22 years old or have very very bad taste in lodging, this is your kind of place.

We just came back from an overnight stay in Goldenrod. It was horrible. I really wish I found these reviews before we went. It was dirty, the water stunk so bad we wouldn't dare shower, and all the fire alarms had been ripped off the walls! The dishes were nasty with old food on them. You are directly on a...

First of all, when we first pulled up to the place, it was located right next to the highway!!! Second thing I noticed was how UNKEPT the place was from the outside. But I have seen places like that before where looks from the outside can be deceiving. We weren't that lucky!! When we got to our cottage ( sugarplum...

“Some cottages have fireplaces - great for spring, fall and winter. No swimming pool, but it does have a beach. No fitness center but they do provide canoes, and kaiacks”
