My room had garbage under beds dirt all over floor hair in the beds and the mirror was filthy ! Also heard housekeepers airing there dirty laundry outside my room!Also bathrooms were nasty! For the amount of money you pay its not worth it!More

Very comfortable place to stay for a hiking trip. Decor is throwback- feels like summer camp. Food was fantastic, especially dinner. Staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable about nearby hiking trails. A nice perk is that you can borrow equipment for free, including boots.
Stayed here after spending the night atop Mt Washington at the observatory. Very minimal furnishings but I knew that pre-booking. The best way to get a reservation is to call The Appalachain Mountain Club at 603-466-2727. Generally discounts are only offered for stays of three nights or more in any combination of huts and /or lodges.
