We really loved it here! We stayed on the Motel side of things at the Pelham. LOCATION: It is right on the beach! It is located on Ocean Boulevard. What a great location! ROOM: The room we had was nice, clean, a bit small (but we wanted that, to keep it affordable, and it was affordable!). Free Wi-Fi! And the Air Conditioning system was one of those new mini-split units that was super quiet & efficient! The beds were clean, but a slightly squeaky box spring, lol. But everything was super here - nice! PRICE: As stated above = one of the few affordable places right on the beach! STAFF: The owner is nice, as is the rest of the staff. FOOD: And they had a continental breakfast every morning, which was included in the price. Standard fare, and sometimes they ran out of the healthier low-fat yogurts (it was towards the end of the season, so it was to be expected), but otherwise perfect! EXTRA'S: They have a nice deck out front, facing ocean boulevard (nice!). They have a heated swimming pool in the back, which is nice if you have younger kids that you want to keep close, and safe. And they own the big building next door (I think they call it the Suites?). In any case, when they have fireworks, you can go up to that roof, and watch with a spectacular view. You can go any night, and enjoy the view & atmosphere. RECOMMENDED = I wouldn't stay anywhere else on the beach, for the price. …

The only thing this place has going for it is location. You have to park two blocks from hotel. This are very steep stairs, small dirty rooms. It takes two flushes for the toilet. Ceiling falling in, mold on shower curtain. You hear the music from bar across the steet till 11 PM, then at 5:15 every morning you heard the trash pick up which lastes about 10 minutes. at 6 AM its the street sweeper. If you are you stay here, don't say you were not warned.

I cannot say enough good things about the Pelham! Directly across from the ocean, close to so many venues, the most amazing views! I stayed in one of the suites on the top floor (be advised 43 steps). The view from the room was breathtaking. The room itself was clean and well-appointed, just lovely. The rooftop one floor up was, again, amazing, spectacular views. If you have kids, it’s right across the street from the playground. I would stay there again in a heartbeat, and I highly recommend the Pelham!

Parking 2 blocks away. old hotel needs updating. Towels and wash clothes were stained, sheets had to be straightened every a.m. windows need replacing, heard everything outside. no shampoo, body lotion, etc., so bring your own. Smallest bathroom ever!, and very small bedroom. Was concerned about security, for your door just a plain house bedroom door with door lock, you had to make sure your door was closed tight to lock. make sure you have key to deck for ocean front deck, because you will find yourself locked out. you think they would key both doors the same. Cont. breakfast was ok. Location only thing going for this place. Nice pool.

We had a family vacation and rented 3 rooms at The Pelham. We were very pleased with the accommodations. The rooms were clean, housekeeping was offered if you put the tag on the door requesting housekeeper. Continental breakfast was good, pastry/donut selection was very fresh. Staff was very pleasant. We would definitely stay there again.

We went to Hampton for my grandmother's funeral. There were no a lot of options so last minute, and most of them were very expensive. Pelham had better rates and availability. The owners are extremely nice, friendly and helpful. We stayed in one of the apartments, which was decent. Everything was clean. Conveniently located to the ocean, playground, food and stores. Unfortunately it was also very close to the noise, which is no fault of the hotel. The owner advised that it was noisier than normal, because it was the 1st nice weekend of nice weather. Things one should know is that the hotel provides facial/body soap and make-up removal wipes. You will need to bring your own shampoo /conditioner. Very limited TV channels. It would be really helpful if they provided a TV guide to reference.…

My daughter and I spent 3 nights here and LOVED IT! The owner is so personable and will do anything for his guests. The location is amazing with a huge porch to relax on. The beds are super comfortable. I will always come back here to stay!

My family booked a "Luxury" Suite earlier this week. The comforter on one of the beds had blood stains, the bathroom shower liner was moldy, and the drawer of utensils in the kitchenette was full of crumbs. Unacceptable for $410/night ($446.90/night after taxes, stayed 2 nights), especially during Covid times when most hotels are going above and beyond to ensure cleanliness and safety for their guests. We told the desk about the comforter and shower immediately, and they did send someone up to replace them. My mother later spoke to the owner of the hotel about this and asked if he can offer any type of compensation to make up for it and he said they don't do that. All he said was we could have a parking spot after checkout, and blamed the problems above on being short staffed. I'm no expert, but maybe don't book out a room if it can't be properly cleaned? Some other things to note from our stay: -Our hair dryer was broken and we told the desk at the same time about the comforter & curtain, but it wasn't replaced. This really upset my mother who could not fix her hair for family photos. - There is no housekeeping unless requested during Covid (as expected), so the instructions said to request towels, etc from the desk. We went to the lobby to ask for towels one night. The service bell didn't work, so I eventually had to call the hotel phone directly. The man who came out (who we later found out was the owner) made us feel like a bother and tried to get us to come back in the morning. All he had to do was go down the hall and get a few towels — it only took a moment. - The lamp and lamp shade between beds had a thick layer of dust. - Both suites next to us had two TVs. Ours had a missing TV across from the couch where theirs had one (we talked to both neighbors; one of them said their shower was "raunchy" as well). When asking the owner about it, he said we only got one TV. - Upon arrival, the soap dispenser in the bathroom was empty and toilet paper roll was at the end. The ash tray on our balcony had not been cleaned properly. The only good thing about this booking was the location, our suite's balcony, and the roof deck on the building! But you can get a balcony and a roof deck at many other hotels on the same street.…

I love the hotel and the amenities but the owner is very rude. Always yelling at us. Accusing us of smoking weed. Telling us to go to bed. Acting like our father when we came up here to just have fun and get away.
