We discovered Wildcat Tavern on a recent ski trip. Can't believe we had never heard of it before. We ate on the tavern side. What a cute, eclectic place with fire, ski lift chairs and plenty to look at. We thought the food was very good and the prices were reasonable. Service was also great. We will be back for...

Tuesday's is hoot night and you never know who you will hear for entertainment, as Jon Sardy runs what will be a memorable night. He usually kicks off the set and is sure to do at least one classic Johnny Cash tune-and he's phenomenal...great local beers on draft and decent food!

We only tried the Tavern. Despite our initial wait service (no one knew that they were assigned to us), we enjoyed a great after ski lunch. The food was plentiful, reasonably priced, and delicious. We would recommend! This property would be good for couples, families, and those with small children.

My first visit will be my last. Over cooked fish, very small portions, no salad, a party of 20 people, many who were not satisfied. Beef seems to be the way to go. Buy One - get one no real deal with such small portions.

We stopped in to warm up on a cold afternoon and was not disappointed. The atmosphere was inviting, the staff friendly and efficient and the food very tasty. We had a few questions about items on the menu and the waitress was very helpful. Definitely a nice place for an afternoon snack!

It is true the room is a bit basic. But when you are on a road trip it doesn't really matter as you aren't in it for long. The blinds in our room were down and made it look drabber than it was so I had to hook them over the top bar. We were comfortable enough. There is nothing...

Years ago we would make a point to stop in the bar to enjoy the music and engaging bartenders. Wow have things changed!!! It is so unfortunate. Its obvious there has been a change in management or at least how its managed. We again made point tovisit on our recent trip. Bar was busy but nothing that should not have...

The website says right on the first page that it's not a fancy place - so our expectations were well aligned. But, we wanted a spot in Jackson with food options throughout the day and a clean place to sleep after long ski days. The sad part is that these folks are sitting on a gold mine if they could...

Had dinner there 12/26 and 12/28. Haddock frozen? Rice was warmish, broccolli was warmish. Plenty of food. Probably best to stay with the meats. Prime Rib is good. This is a very comfortable atmosphere in the tavern. Music is local and high quality. Two-fer one dinners on Wednesday are great. In fairness, this was the busiest week of the year.

Stayed here one night after hiking all day in the area, it's very convenient for that. The facility has a lot of charm as it's one of the oldest establishments in town. Welcome was nice and as the only one there (at the time) I was given the largest room (#9). Very cozy, clean, small gas fireplace was really nice...
