It is true the room is a bit basic. But when you are on a road trip it doesn't really matter as you aren't in it for long. The blinds in our room were down and made it look drabber than it was so I had to hook them over the top bar. We were comfortable enough. There is nothing...

Years ago we would make a point to stop in the bar to enjoy the music and engaging bartenders. Wow have things changed!!! It is so unfortunate. Its obvious there has been a change in management or at least how its managed. We again made point tovisit on our recent trip. Bar was busy but nothing that should not have...

The website says right on the first page that it's not a fancy place - so our expectations were well aligned. But, we wanted a spot in Jackson with food options throughout the day and a clean place to sleep after long ski days. The sad part is that these folks are sitting on a gold mine if they could...

Had dinner there 12/26 and 12/28. Haddock frozen? Rice was warmish, broccolli was warmish. Plenty of food. Probably best to stay with the meats. Prime Rib is good. This is a very comfortable atmosphere in the tavern. Music is local and high quality. Two-fer one dinners on Wednesday are great. In fairness, this was the busiest week of the year.

Stayed here one night after hiking all day in the area, it's very convenient for that. The facility has a lot of charm as it's one of the oldest establishments in town. Welcome was nice and as the only one there (at the time) I was given the largest room (#9). Very cozy, clean, small gas fireplace was really nice...

We went for dinner on a recent Wednesday when they have their "Wildcat Wednesday" two for dinner special. You get to choose from a special menu, two dinners for $26.95. The menu features 8 or 9 options, 2 fish, 2 chicken dinners, a pork loin, a steak, a pasta and a veal dish. My sole stuffed with shrimp & scallops...

We went on an evening when local musicians sometimes play. I enjoyed the atmosphere of this establishment. Being from Texas, it felt very New England-ish, which was exactly what we were looking for! On the advice of the waitress, we ordered the Lobster Quesadilla and it was amazing!!! We did not stay at the Inn - only ate in the...

Small tavern with proper bar and a busy kitchen. Good meal in simple surroundings. There is an adjoining Inn but room for passers by to be fitted in. Tasty food and the staff were kept running to keep up but did a good job with the timings.

Had the pleasure of enjoying a wonderful lunch at The Wildcat Tavern. Food was outstanding. The special was a homemade chicken pie served in a bread bowl. Fresh and delicious. Atmosphere was lovely with lots to enjoy including great skiing memorabilia. Don't miss out on a visit to this very impressive location.

I was in room 311 which had a small gas stove and a lovely view of the garden. I had little contact with the Inn staff but when I did he was delightful. I really enjoyed the morning coffee setup, it had such a warm homey feeling. I have stayed here before and I have always been very satisfied.
