By far the best welcome in the Mount Washington valley. If you're in the area you MUST visit Jackson, a beautiful typical New Hampshire village. White steepled church, waterfall, and the Wildcat Tavern. This place is a gem, great music, most nights, good food great beer selection, and the best most welcoming staff in the area. Do not miss it!

So my wife and I went here twice on our latest trip to the area. We stay directly across the street from the Tavern. The first night we just had drinks and watch the live music, it was very good. The second night we returned for dinner (2 for one entrées), I got the braised beef and she got haddock,...

My husband and I stayed at the Wildcat Inn for our anniversary. Our room was spacious and quaint with a loveseat in a cozy nook; you can choose from a variety of room styles and sizes. The bar is lively and has excellent live music. We brought our dog and he was greeted enthusiastically after every walk outside by staff...

Saw the sign-two for one on Wednesday. Looked up the menu online and it looked great so we headed down. Nice ambiance and fun music but that's about it. Nothing on the online menu (listed under the two for one specials) was actually on the menu. We decided to stay anyway-bad decision! The "half chicken" was a ridiculously dry chicken...

This Inn is a great little gem in the middle of the mountains. It is not a Hilton or Marriott - its old - the floors are crooked in parts and the rooms decor is principally dark brown wood. It does however have great charm and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The Inn is a lively place with...

We stayed at the Wildcat Inn between Christmas and New Years and met up with some friends from out of town. It is very reasonably priced, clean and very quiet. The facility is a little old, the floors are a little creaky and so with that said you must temper your expectations. There are gas fireplace/stoves in each room which...

We stayed at the Wildcat Inn while skiing this year. The pricing in March is right yet we both felt it was very understaffed. One of our days there no one made up our room and another, no new towels appeared. Otherwise, the room was clean on arrival, the mattress extremely comfortable and there was plenty of hot water for...

First and foremost- there is confusion re TR reviews. Check if reviews are pertaining to Accommodations or Restaurant. We were Brits in N. England, having already experienced the ice of Moosehead Lake ME we had retreated to Portsmouth NH. We had a few more days on our hands-some tripadvisor research attracted us to the White mountains following recent snowfall that...

Located, in the quaint Jackson Village, the Wildcat Inn is friendly, cozy and has very nice food. Nice selection on the menu and the service is always good. They have upper scale dining and a pub. A Valley standard that is worth the visit.

We've visited the Wildcat Inn and Tavern for many years. The food is consistently delicious and the service is always helpful and friendly. Make reservations if you plan on visiting during the weekend.
