My wife and I took a driving trip through Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine, (one of my bucket list activities.) We stopped and stayed at the Lyme Inn at the recommendation of family in the area. EXCELLENT CHOICE! We were greeted by a most gracious staff and tak

Such a lovely spot! Room was cozy, clean and felt unique. It was a funny dog theme that was smart and whimsical. The cell service in the town is awful, but WiFi was fine. We walked to a tavern style restaurant and had a great dinner.

We had a fantastic time! Rooms are beautiful, food was fantastic and staff very friendly. A very nice homey feel and short distance to shopping and crossing the boarder into Vermont. We came for a family wedding and plan on coming back another time to visit the area. Loved it

I’ve stayed at the Lyme Inn probably a dozen times. It is always wonderful, welcoming staff, good food. Only 15 minutes from Hanover and well worth the drive to a postcard perfect New England town. It’s also excellent for small conferences, meetings, parties and reunions.

Room is comfortable, food is excellent, especially dinner at Ariana's. Staff are friendly and caring. Atmosphere is informal, old New England, homey, and town is charming, with beautiful surroundings.

The bathroom was SO FUN! There was more marble in the bathroom than in an Italian quarry!
Ask for the Grand Suite. You'll be in the lap of warm, New England hospitality.
The Grand Suite included wide-plank pine floors, a fireplace, wood beams in the ceiling, art work and one BIG COMFY king size bed!

How handicap accessible is your facility? Are there easy walkways and an elevator available to upper floors? Are there any rooms available on the ground floor? Thank you!
Hello: My name is Bill Sawyer, and I am the Operations Manager here at the Inn. If the person confined to,and depending on -the width of the wheelchair, getting into the rooms may be an issue. We have rooms that have showers without tubs,as well as with, and there are grip bars in each. We have an elevator that will service the second and third floors, and there are no rooms on the first floor. I would encourage you to take a look at some of our larger rooms (34&35) on our website (thelymeinn) There you will see pictures of each room and get a better idea of what we offer. Please also feel free to call me directly at 603-795-4824 with any other questions. We hope to see you soon!
