I am in the area 3-4 times a year and I always stay here. Rooms are lovely, restaurant excellent and a welcoming atmosphere. Lyme is a quiet, picturesque town only a 10-15 minute drive from Hanover and a much better place to stay.

The rooms are different sizes and we did stay in the Dartmouth Suite. It was a huge corner room on the 3rd floor facing the village green, with fireplace, large sitting area and gigantic marble bathroom. A lot of attention to detail has been give this makeover. Wonderful art work, a small luxury hotel. The service was very friendly and...

We held our annual conference at the Lyme Inn again. This is such a beautiful venue!! The staff is so attentive and helpful. If you want to splurge a little on yourself or bring your partner, get one of the suites. We stayed in Suite 35 and it was such a rustic, elegant room. The bathroom was like a trip...

The rooms are very well done. First class check in and a great dinner. It was the best experience of my fall New England Tour. The Inn Keeper was on site and made sure that it was great experience. There was entertainment in the restaurant and the meal had to be the best in town.

We very much enjoyed our two night stay at the Lyme Inn. A lovely location, lovely staff and good food at both breakfast and in The Tavern for dinner. My only two (minor) complaints are that the pillows weren't particularly comfortable (some sort of foam, I think) and that the TV offerings, while extensive, failed to include the expected sports...

A great small inn with an excellent restaraunt and bar. The food was delicious and the bar offered a variety of local beers. Extremely friendly staff. Stayed here for a couple of nights to attend a family wedding. Rooms were very comfortable.
