When we booked Ash Street Inn, it was based on previous great Tripadvisor reviews; under different ownership and the new owners/hosts Rob and Margit have continued to provide first class service and accommodation. It is a wonderful Victoria House which still retains all its character. We thoroughly enjoyed this stay, our room 203 on the ground floor( I think they...

This was my second time staying at the Ash Street Inn. It will always be my choice when going to Manchester. The owners Margit and Rob made it so special. Their breakfasts were delicious. There were many great choices for a home cooked breakfast. The rooms are emaculate and very well decorated. It was quiet and lovely. Also it is...

Sorry this is a late review my entry say May or 2014, but it was March of 2014. My wife and I had our 7 mo. son and her birthday wish was go get away and stay in a B&B or and Inn; something beautiful and comfortable. She also wanted to do some shopping and get a massage. I found...

You will be welcomed at the door, given a quick tour, made to feel welcome, shown to your room, get help with your bags, offered refreshment including homemade treats, lay your head on fabulous pillows in a well decorated room where you will wake up refreshed and offered your choice of a full breakfast and several newspapers. If I missed...

Recently, my girlfriend and I stayed here. This place is pure service. It was absolutely magical. Eric and Darlene thought of everything to make our stay lovely and delightful. We both felt relaxation come over us within an hour of being there. Not only was it a great place to stay, but Eric and I also had some great conversations....

Wow! A last minute need for a room led us to this fantastic, standard setting, B&B. Our room was very comfortable and well appointed. The fan, windows, and fireplace gave us multiple tools to tailor the environment to our likes and we slept like rocks (an unfortunate rarity for us) both nights we were there. It's important to note were...

We stayed in Manchester as a "stop over", to break up our journey. I am very pleased with our decision to stay at the Ash Street Inn. Our room was comfortable, with all the regular amenities. And, unlike every other B & B we've stayed at, we had a choice of made-to-order cooked breakfasts! I enjoyed the scrambled eggs &...

I must say that this B&B owner has gone to extraordinary lengths to make this urban B&B comfortable –– visually, as well as physically –– for his guests. We were in Room 207, which I guess was small, but the furniture was arranged in such a way that we didn't feel at all cramped. I especially appreciated two features that...

This B&B is highly recommended. The owner was very helpful and informative about the surrounding area. Breakfast was fabulous! Why pay for a regular hotel when you can pay just as much for such an incredible experience!?
