The title says it all It was late in the day so we decided to make an unscheduled stop over in Meredith . We checked out all the accommodation on the lake ( they were very tired and expensive ) none of which were to our taste . We noticed Ballard House on the way out of town and before...

Glad you happened upon us, impromptu plans sometimes are the best! We try to make everyone feel welcome, enjoy and relax during their stay with us. Keep the praise coming for Brian, it gets me off the hook from cooking half the time! Thanks for taking time to share your thoughts too. Take care!

I have stayed in plenty of B&BS but never have I met two more genuine or generous hosts as Lynn and Brian. The Inn has been lovingly restored, charmingly decorated and offers beautiful views of the lakes and mountains. Lynn and Brian go above and beyond to provide a comfortable experience whether by providing ample refreshments in the evenings, artfully...

We arrived at the Inn after a difficult journey from the UK and Brian and Lynn immediately made us feel at home. They were very attentive, generous and entertaining hosts. They wanted us to make the most of our short stay in Meredith and suggested and booked activities and a restaurant table for us. Our room was very pleasant and...

Stayed here at the start of The Fall. Location was great and views were amazing. Some people have commented about being on a main road - you don't hear it! Brian and Lynn were perfect hosts. Their house is beautiful and they really make you feel welcome - they even have a lovely walk in their woods to a glacial...

Glad you enjoyed the views of Lake Waukewan and the mountains from our back porch and the hike from our property to Hart's Pond. The foliage this year was absolutely gorgeous. Thank you very much posting your thoughts about your stay, sorry you couldn't stay longer!

Stayed with Brian and Lynn for three nights. We couldn't have been looked after any better. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfasts fresh and varied, complimentary wine, cookies, cakes, chips and chocolates. Room very comfortable, light and airy with luxurious bed linen. The little touches of a nightlight in the bathroom, and makeup remover wipes. We received tips on the...

We have been lucky enough to travel a lot and always make notes on how we would run a B&B if we ran one. The Ballard House Inn is perfection and the last one we rated this highly was in New Zealand over 20 years ago! The whole experience was as it should be. Brian and Lynn are the perfect...
