We have stayed there before and have been very pleased. Unfortunately this time may be our last. We encountered a very dirty, buggy room. Bath tub was dirty and full of alive and dead bugs. Toilet was not clean. Very dusty furniture. And the worst part, I had to kill 2 bugs that were crawling on our sheets!!

A little pricey but nice location. Close to all Portsmouth or even Maine attractions with just a short drive. The room was clean and very cute. The jacuzzi tub had PLENTY of hot water to completely fill the tub! The room was very relaxing. The description says open concept bathroom and I wasn't sure I'd like that. The sink and...

We wanted to celebrate our anniversary in a room with a jacuzzi. My husband had recent surgery for his cancer and we needed to relax. We stayed in the Tropical Suite. Upon filling the jacuzzi we turned on the jets and all this brown floaty stuff was all thru the water and on us. We drained it, washed it out...

Went there for the first time. Got a suite with whirlpool tub. If that's a suite the room was small the bathroom was the same size. It's not what the pictures show. Not enough hot water to fill the tub. Had to use a space heater for heat. It was not worth double the price for a whirlpool tub. Just...

A very pleasant stay in nice surroundings. The room was clean, attractive with coffee machine and fridge. The restaurant /bar is great, doing lovely reasonably priced salads and bar meals. The beer was great, if a bit stronger than us Brits are used to! If you are looking for a 4* hotel this time it, but is a friendly clean...

Labor Day weekend - everyone sold out. 9:45pm on Sunday night drove by to see vacancy light on. Yes, they had a wonderful Hemingway Suite available. Not sure what the rooms are like, but this suite is great with a king bed, fireplace, tub for 2, hardwood floors, mini refrig, coffee maker and oh did I say tub for 2?...

Traumatic experience! We arrived at this hotel late at night after finding all the other hotels in the area full. When we saw the rate of 145 $ (+ tax) we thought it was quite high but we were tired and we took it without asking to see the room before paying it. Unimaginable what we found. Dirty room, smell...

Don't mind the negative reviews. That was only due to unrealistic expectation. We got the cheapest king room which was clean spacious. Very good internet speed. Big TV with full HBO. Hot tub and pool across from our room. I'm sure the upgraded rooms are well worth the money.

Their themed suites are awesome. I had an amazing stay. The jacuzzi was the best part I probably stayed in there half the night with my champagne glass. The ambiance was amazing. I really like this place definitely going back. 💋✌

Had a delightful three night stay at the Wrens Nest Inn. We had a standard king bed room which included a coffee maker, refrigerator, and microwave. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. The inn is located off the main road into Portsmouth, but is surrounded by trees making it seem more like a country inn. We loved the onsite...
