I stayed here in the early summer of 2015 with some buddies on the trail. We meant to stay for one night and ended up staying for 3. It really is the best hostel the trail offers. Marni is a fantastic host and offers a spacious house with great food and awesome amenities

This is the best hostel on the AT! Everyone is so friendly, and they go out of their way to make sure you have what you need. I can't believe that a hostel that caters to thru-hikers can be this clean, smell this nice, and be this homey. I can't wait to stay again! ~Magellan

If you are looking for an amazing place to stay while trekking through the whites, look no further, this is your place! I stayed here during my 2015 thru hike of the Appalachian trail, and it was my favorite stay along the way. The lodge is comfortable and clean, and the staff are wonderful. They honestly thought of everything from...

Great location. Great Price. Great Staff. Great Amenities. I found this hiking the 4 thousand footers. There's no better option in the Northern part of the Whites. Here you'll get a clean place, and breakfast, and a shuttle to Pinkham to let you access many of the trails. Careful not to confuse it with the White Mountain Hostel in Conway.

We came for 2 days and a little bit of hiking. Most people were hiking the AT. SOBO and NOBO. Marni, the owner has the process down to a science. She washes your clothes, a clean bed, shuttle to Walmart for supplies and one of her great breakfasts. Everyone is so friendly and the accommodations are clean comfortable. Her breakfasts...

First came here during my thru-hike. Been coming back every year since. Friendly staff, super clean, great breakfast, free shuttle to resupply, and they do your laundry for you. What more can a hiker ask for?

When I arrived on Sunday June 26th at about 1:30 in the afternoon the owner Marni welcomed me with open arms and a wonderful smile - I was dead tired exhausted and needed a shower and my laundry done and she accommodated me immediately. I have walked about 480 miles of the Appalachian Trail - all the other hospitals are...

I spent five nights at this hostel while hiking in the White Mountains. The owner is friendly and a wealth of information. Her staff goes above and beyond to provide you with anything you need. Guest treat one another like family. Breakfast were top notch and hardy. While this hostel mainly attracts hikers, all are welcome and made to feel...

If you are looking for inexpensive but clean, fun and friendly accommodations, this is the place for you! It's more like a bed and breakfast. There are some private rooms, some semi private rooms, rooms with many beds, you can pitch a tent outside, and all guests are given a giant homemade breakfast the next morning. The owner, Marnie, is...

We stayed here as we had heard it was close to the Appalachian Trail and we enjoyed our stay. Breakfast is part of their pricing and worth the few extra dollars. The Hostel has only been open since 2013 and is one of the best AT Hiker Hostel I've stayed at during my 950+ miles of AT Section Hiking. As...
