We had a wonderful stay!! The inn keepers were so nice too!! Our breakfast was banana topped French toast and fruit parfait were simply outstanding! The inn dates back to the late 1800's & the decor fit it perfectly! We highly recommend this inn as a destination to stay at!!

We had called last minute after another hotel screwed up our reservation, and they where very accommodating. We stayed in the carriage house, very cozy and comfortable, beautiful house and scenery. and breakfast included.

The Inn is very nice...Tilton has seen better days! Just be careful when booking because the Inn has several rooms that share a bathroom or it is not connected to the room. We had such a room which was not what we expected from the description online..or even from the written description on reservation. They quickly changed us to a... More

My friends and I were warmly greeted by the owner and she kindly gave us a tour of the inn -- we were awestruck by the workmanship and elegance of the building. She was extremely accommodating, even leaving the lower price when we told her there was four of us. We had to leave early in the morning and she... More

Getting to Jefferson late in the afternoon, Darrel welcomed us for happy hour. The honey goat cheese roll with sesame seeds was delicious. We stayed in the carriage house which was stocked with water, sodas, and snacks--even brownies. Breakfast was delicious with homemade biscuits, friata , grapes in yogert with b rown sugar. The serving pieces were unique and all... More

Stayed there on a 2 days trip to Tilton. The place is quite comfortable. The antiques , furniture and detailed work makes it a work from history. The owner- Cheryl is very helpful. Since we were new to the place, she helped us with maps, directions and gave us a lot of information. The staff is friendly as well. Would... More

$147 is a lot of money for a hotel room on our budget, but we splurged on this B&B and were not disappointed. Our room (Henry Ford) was smallish but the trundle bed helped fit our 2 13-year-old daughters. Breakfast was served in a wonderful, old-fashioned dining room -- great ambiance. Beautiful grounds invokes a relaxed atmosphere with lots of... More

To be honest we normally like modern conveniences and typically newer/fancier places to stay. I decided to try the Black Swan based in part from the beautiful pics and in part from the great reviews throughout hotel sites. At first it was a little hard to get used to, but the charm and friendly staff at the Inn quickly won... More

We were fortunate to find this gem in the Lakes Region of NH. So impressed with the craftsmanship of this B&B. Photos do not do this justice. The owners were gracious, the room exquisite, and the breakfast was wonderful!
