I came to Tilton to attend a retreat and it was the organizer that chose The Black Swan Inn for our event. Our rooms were assigned to us and I have to say that this was the best room in the house! I could have and should have taken more pictures since the room is much bigger than what I...

After several days of touring New England art museums, I needed a place to recharge my batteries and the Black Swan Inn was just the right spot! This is a beautiful home from the late 1800s with only a few bedrooms very conveniently located near the interstate yet a world away. I was the first guest to arrive, so I...

It was my first time ever staying at a B&B and it was AMAZING!!I would absolutely recommend staying here and I will again as well! LOVED IT! I was on the third floor with bedroom and attached private bath. Each room was elegant and unique. There's even a creepy old Dr's office in the basement...

We absolutely loved this place. A beautiful victorian B & B. It was a special treat to stay here. The accommodations were spotless and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the atmosphere was beautiful. The only downside was that the carriage house room we stayed in was close to the road and it was noisey.

We had a wonderful stay!! The inn keepers were so nice too!! Our breakfast was banana topped French toast and fruit parfait were simply outstanding! The inn dates back to the late 1800's & the decor fit it perfectly! We highly recommend this inn as a destination to stay at!!

We had called last minute after another hotel screwed up our reservation, and they where very accommodating. We stayed in the carriage house, very cozy and comfortable, beautiful house and scenery. and breakfast included.

The Inn is very nice...Tilton has seen better days! Just be careful when booking because the Inn has several rooms that share a bathroom or it is not connected to the room. We had such a room which was not what we expected from the description online..or even from the written description on reservation. They quickly changed us to a...

My friends and I were warmly greeted by the owner and she kindly gave us a tour of the inn -- we were awestruck by the workmanship and elegance of the building. She was extremely accommodating, even leaving the lower price when we told her there was four of us. We had to leave early in the morning and she...

Getting to Jefferson late in the afternoon, Darrel welcomed us for happy hour. The honey goat cheese roll with sesame seeds was delicious. We stayed in the carriage house which was stocked with water, sodas, and snacks--even brownies. Breakfast was delicious with homemade biscuits, friata , grapes in yogert with b rown sugar. The serving pieces were unique and all...

Stayed there on a 2 days trip to Tilton. The place is quite comfortable. The antiques , furniture and detailed work makes it a work from history. The owner- Cheryl is very helpful. Since we were new to the place, she helped us with maps, directions and gave us a lot of information. The staff is friendly as well. Would...
