... start a fire, make some meat on the grill, and relax. That's the purpose of this campground. I've been coming here for nearly 20 now; ever since I was a juvenile. Yes, the prices may be higher than average, but that's simply for convenience. This is not a location known to be nearby civilization. I have never come here...

ve always camped here with my daughter and grandchildren. In 2010 my daughter died and the grandkinds and I continued to camp on the same tent site and the same week every year. I would allways reserve well in advance to make sure of this. 2014 when we checked in they put us on a different site even though the...

Let me start by saying that we are new to "camping" and this is only our second camping trip. We stayed at a KOA last year, but chose this campground because it was highly recommended by friends. First the positives: we stayed in a cabin suite and the outdoor kitchen was very nice. There was a lot to offer the...

I can only say great things about this campsite! It was the frist time out with our new-used trailer (we had tent camped until then), so needless to say, we had to deal with a big learning curve. After a mishap with the a water hose malfunction under the sink, Joe (the new owner) made multple visits to our site...

Single mom, 2 children, tent site no hookups, 2 nights: This is a great camp ground for familes looking for a fun/low key camping experience. We have been to moose hill 3 times and we are going in a few weeks for our forth. I am by far, not a rugged out doorsie type. Four years ago I packed the...

Ok, don't even get me started. This review is coming from a 13 year old girl.. But I absolutely love this campground. I have literally been camping here since the days that I do not remember. I do not understand people who don't like this campground, I have stayed in it all- camper, tent, cabin, see I've done it all....

The last time my family stayed here we stayed by the "pond". It was very dark and murky. Though we did see a great blue herring. My brothers bike was stolen and was found in the woods with its handles a little slashed. Not the managements fault but something to think of when going there. Also my sister put in...

Moose Hillock was recommended to us by a fellow camper at Normandy Farms Camping Resort in MA (fantastic place, btw). We had reservations at another New Hampshire campground, but decided to cut that stay short and move to Moose Hillock. I phoned for a reservation and I have to say the woman on the phone was a bit odd (and...

After being a seasonal for about 20 years, I sold my camper. This year I rented three weeks in the cabin suites. One week in July and two in August. The cabin was really fun. The kids loved the bunk beds, (few arguments as who got to sleep on the top!). The queen bed was comfortable too. Plenty of room...

This was our second time visiting Moose Hillock. This is a great location for visiting area attractions. We visited Clark's Trading Post, Santa's Village and Lost River Gorge and Boulder Caves. My three boys (11, 8 and 6) love the pool and the stream that flowed right behind our campground. I have stayed at nicer campgrounds with cleaner restrooms but...
