We love this hotel! Our extended family goes every summer and it’s the best spot! It’s right on the ocean so it’s easy to come and go throughout the day— especially with kids! There’s a beautiful, clean pool too. There are tons of restaurants around, and you can easily walk to the amusement park, water park, bike rentals, stores, etc. Rooms are clean. This place is a gem!

Didn't discover Coral Seas until late in the season this year (after spending a fortune at other locations on the Island!) , however, I will only stay at Coral Seas from now on!
Yes, it is a dated NJ Shore motel similar to others with the exception of being CLEAN and QUIET. Rooms, pool and grounds were very clean and well maintained. Very accommodating customer service (VOLUNTARILY discounted our room rates after they discovered the wrong rate was initially quoted/charged) . Relaxing stay steps from the ocean. Can't wait to go back next summer!

The Coral Seas Motel in Beach Haven is the perfect place to go for a cheap, relaxing trip to the beach. Conveniently located right next to the beach, you can get a hotel room with a balcony that provides a beautiful and tranquil view. The town is located in is a cute quiet beach town with many good stores and places to eat nearby. There is a bike rental place that me and my family loves to get bikes from. Fantasy Island is a short 10 minute walk from the hotel, so you can still have the quietness but the convenient entertainment close by. A park that is a block from the hotel often holds events like flea markets and concerts as well. One thing I wouldn’t recommend is visiting during a holiday due to the traffic. With the pool, the beach, the frequent events and amazing eateries, I would highly recommend this gem of a hotel to a friend.

I called Coral Seas in June and they just happen to have a cancellation for 3 nights in July. What luck! We had never stayed here before, but decided to take a chance based on the glowing reviews. We had a standard room overlooking the pool. We had no problem getting a lounge chair by the pool. The hotel is only steps to the beach entrance. It is also within walking distance to many restaurants, bars, shops and The Starlight Theater. The staff is friendly as were the other guests. We plan to stay here again and will get a 3rd floor ocean view room with a balcony.

Our family planned a last-minute stay at the Coral Seas and we're so glad we did. Another family joined us, as well. Because we booked last minute, our family of four spent the three nights in a room with only two double beds. It was cramped, but it worked out fine. Plus, our friends booked at the last minute also and the staff was still able to put us in rooms next to each other.
The hotel is in a great location - right on the beach and within walking distance to many restaurants and shops. The pool is a nice size and the rooms were clean. Please note, it's a pretty basic motel, but that's what you expect at the Jersey shore.
We enjoyed our stay so much that we just booked another three nights for later this month. We love Beach Haven and have stayed at the Engleside Inn in the past, but the Coral Seas is now at the top of our list also.

This might be my third review of this hotel and I am hesitant to write it because I do not want it to get too crowded for when I want togo there, but they are just fantastic. The location is phenomenal, the rooms are clean and just as advertised, and the staff is there to help and very courteous. My daughter and I have been going here for 6 years on our mother/daughter vaction and it never disappoints.

less than 3 hours from NY, this was just the gettaway we needed. The Coral seas was a wonderful escape with just the right amount of amenities. Steps away from the ocean, it was quiet and clean and a location that can't be beat! Near to all, yet peaceful ! Sunrise on the ocean, sunsets on the bay.. a pool on the property completes the trifecta!! The customer service was friendly and went out of their way to accommodate. I have found a new go-to place to relax....I WILL be going back soon!

We have been staying at the Coral Seas for years for long/holiday weekends. we missed last summer but have booked a couple stays for this year. Clean, quiet and right off the beach. Wonderful quiet pool with plenty of seating. We park our car and pretty much walk everywhere. Get a third floor oceanfront if you can. You have a balcony and can easily see over the dunes. If you have kids, try to get a suite.on busy weekends, park your car and leave it because the spots can fill up if you leave.
I feel like I'm in a kinder, gentler time when I stay so I don't it being "dated". I'm not fancy and it matches my laid back mood.

Great location, room was nice and clean. Owners were lovely and helpful when I had questions. Parking was great. Right next to the beach and short walk to restaurants, market and entertainment for the kids. It is definitely worth the price.

There is plenty of fee parking at coral seas
I don't think so. Engleside Inn, a couple doors down, does allow dogs, at least for the off season. Few places on the island, including private rentals, allow pets.
