Rooms are dirty. Walls, floors, bathtub all dirty. Shower had mildew. Not enough soap, shampoos, towels. Woman at desk was rude when I requested extra supplies. Bedspread had a cigarette burn all the way through. They have gone way down in the last couple of years. The Hilton is only $50 more a night and is much higher quality. Don't waste your money!!!

The room smelled of old cigarette smoke. The bed cover was full of burn holes. We were told it was a nonsmoking room. The mattress was stained. The pillows were small and flat. There were bugs. And the rate was $170!!! Got out of there as fast as possible. Would have slept in the car before I slept there

At first glance the room seemed kinda updated...but then the bedding had stains, burn holes (In a non smoking room) the usual gross factor for cheapish, overnight stays. But the breaking point was the the cockroaches! I opened a drawer and saw a big one and smaller ones. The bigger one measured almost an inch long...I would see 3 small ones crawling around the TV stand and bedside table...and then a bigger one appeared!! So if your comfortable with cockroaches, why not stay! Haa! Told the front desk lady, she didn't belive me and was very rude. Unfortunately I didnt realize they were cockroaches until we were packing up to leave and saw the BIG one. Also, cockroaches carry very harmful bacteria, so they should really look into this matter.

My family and I needed a last minute place to stay at the Jersey shore near point pleasant beach. But everything was so expensive!!! But I went online and found this place, which turned out to be only 5 miles from the beach, only 109 for the night! And a very nice room close to many things to eat and shopping:) my family was very happy the owner was such a nice guy and we had a very nice stay. I will stay there again for sure!!!!! No more hotels near the board walk ever again! This was just as good if not better

Stayed here 1 night back in the late 1990's. Upon entering the room, I couldn't help notice a HUGE dip in the middle of the bed, and everything looked like it was from the 1940's inside. The owner back then was a stickler, but I was able to get a refund for the 2nd night that was charged to my card, courtesy of the owners wife who was handling the desk at that time. I was in the area for a funeral situation at the time. I'll never go back.

Note: 2014 is the earliest date available to choose for my stay...it was in the 1990's.

Called and told them I`ll drive around 6-7pm, was told have to be checked in by 6pm or they were giving the room away to a walk in as they apparently could receive more money from a walk in. Hot means cold and cold means hot when taking a shower, either its freezing cold or burning hot so beware when showering. Rooms were very tiny, internet difficult to log in. Sheets and pillows smelled. Positive, near a diner and bagel shop and restaurant. Negative, busy road and difficult to park.

After reading some of the reviews we were reluctant to even give it a try. The room that was given to us had been recently renovated. The room was clean with a brand-new refrigerator and a working microwave. The only problem being is that it is located on the main thorough fare and there appeared to be constant ambulance sirens throughout the night. It is about 20 minutes from Point Pleasant and other points of interest. For $89 a night compared to a few of the other hotels and motels in the area when you need a room this wasn't too bad. It is also located directly in front of a diner.
