Great place to step back in time . Relaxing on the best porch on the east coast and drinking a sweet cocktail is a perfect day. The view for the upper deck ofocean and beach is amazing. It's a short walk to the beach and town.

My sister, two cousins and a spouse, and myself all stayed at the Inn for the Christmas event weekend. We had a suite so that my cousin and his wife had one room; the three of us women shared the second room with two of us sharing the bed and my sister in the cot. We shared the one bathroom,...

We stayed at this property ten years ago and had a wonderful time. We were so disappointed at its current condition. It seems like nothing has been maintained and the hotel has deteriorated with age. On top of that, housekeeping staff is in need of some serious training. Our room was not clean. Until this property is restored to its...

The Inn of Cape May is an 1892 Victorian-era luxury hotel. Built in the days long before air-conditioning, people went to the shore back then for the ocean breezes. The rooms are nice and with great views. They’ve been modernized to some extent (bathrooms and electricity have been installed) but the old wooden floors still creak – a nice touch....

Stopped in for lunch in mid October - staff is friendly - menu was reasonably priced with many offerings. Food was delicious - we had salmon and crab cake. Both were delicious - salads are creative. Rocking chairs on porch are a dream - to watch the beautiful ocean view!

As others have said, this was a grand hotel in the day but it really needs lots of TLC to get back to what it was. Plaster peeling from our ceiling. Shower stall is coming apart and in need of replacement / dirty. Ceiling fan clogged with dust and dirt. Air conditioner was not working in room. Carpet was sticky....

We had a great time at the Inn. The rooms are older but the location is great. You can walk to almost anything, the beach is across the street. Our room was #1 and was smaller but a great king bed, nice size bathroom and closet. There was a little porch outside our hallway with some wicker chairs that you...

We have stayed at the Inn of Cape May a number of times, most recently this past weekend. We love the location and the old world ambiance. The food at the on-site restaurant Aleathea's is among the best in Cape May. We love sitting on the wrap around porch, the staff is great, I can't say enough good things. This...

This was my wife's birthday trip to Cape May, This hotel is over 100 + years old, rooms are quaint, very clean and we really enjoyed our two day stay. We booked a package that gave us $80 gift card for use in the hotel, and also included breakfast for two. Located one street from the beach is also very...

If you're looking for a modern hotel, this is not the place for you. But if you're ok with old carpeting and relatively small rooms, then you can't go wrong here. First, you're literally across the street from the beach. Hello. Second, the bar service is great, with very friendly bartenders. Third, the breakfast menu has everything you could want,...
