Wow. Breakfast was fantastic. Shower outdoors after checkout was much better than riding home sandy after a day at the beach. Short walk to shopping area and beach. Luxurious room. Everything about the Southern Mansion was excellent.

My husband and I stayed at The Southern Mansion for two nights. The overall impression is, unlike many B&Bs, spaciousness, from the lovely grounds to our oversized room. Beautiful furnishings, very quiet and private. The daily breakfast on the enclosed porch was tasty and beautifully presented. You can park your car on the property and it's an easy walk to...

It's all great at his Victorian Era, opulent, haunted(some say) and down right gorgeous bed and breakfast. A trip back in time with all the trimmings...lushly furnished, high ceiling rooms complete with period furnishings and a breakfast layout, which comes with the price, the likes of which i have never experienced....unlimited fresh fruit, pastries, meats, salmon, fresh juices, the best...

We were staying in the area and thought it would be nice to see a local attraction. We paid $10 for a tour. The guide knew little about the mansion, the era, or history in general. Information she provided about furniture and about the previous inhabitants was either made up or was distorted in her retelling. This is a beautiful...

This is my first experience visiting an old mansion from the mid 1800's keeping its authenticity. Most of the pictures in all rooms are from the original owners that lived in the mansion, feels like you traveled back in time. Perfect for weddings and big events. They offer tour from 12:00 to 1:00 pm so don't miss the opportunity to...

The grounds and gardens of this classic Victorian Inn are stunning. We had a small but adequate room in the part of the house that must have been the servants' quarters in another era. Very nice but no private veranda (which is being renovated anyway). No problem as the chairs on the veranda downstairs were very nice to relax in...

The most romantic setting for a wedding. The staff was beyond exceptional. The wedding planner was intuitive thoughtful and had great ideas. Our officiant is also a member of the staff and the reason why we chose the Southern Mansion. The rooms were stunning, I felt like I had been transported back in time.

We recently stayed at the Southern Mansion for a wedding weekend. The Inn is convenient to shopping, dining, and the beaches. Our stay included a full breakfast, parking and beach chairs and towels, but sadly no beach passes. The Inn staff was very responsive to our request to have our room sink checked for slow drainage. We were impressed with...

Stayed here for our anniversary weekend. Loved the room and the whole building - was so beautiful! And it was really quiet in the building too even though there was a wedding here and lots of people around. Rarely heard noises in our room from anywhere else. Breakfast in the morning was pretty good.

The Inn is well located within easy walking distance to almost all of downtown Cape May. We had a slight problem with the room we had booked but it was fixed immediately without a problem in changing to another room. Friendly staff at check in also helped with a great dinner suggestion. Room was very large, nice bright bathroom and...
