My husband and I spent a one night getaway at Congress Hall. We've been inside but have never stayed before. Wanted a spa treatment one night away with dinner in Cape May. Congress Hall didn't disappoint in any way! The hotel rooms were beautifully decorated and recently updated. We had a room that faced the ocean and I loved reading...

We stayed in the oceanfront suite (James Buchanan Suite on the 4th floor) which was beautifully appointed with fresh crisp bed linens and fluffy cozy robes and a lovely view of the ocean. The downstairs bar offered live music; fun spot but packed. Staff is very attentive regardless of how busy. Had a nice breakfast at the Blue Pig. The...

We had lived in Cape May for 18 years and recently moved away. We had been in and out of Congress Hall numerous times, to eat in the Blue Pig Tavern, to get a pizza and a beer in the Boiler Room, to get coffee and a pastry in Tommy's Folly, to attend holiday events, but we had never had...

My wife and I visited for a weekend getaway during the first week of February. We have stayed here before and had a great experience. This time, it was just as good as in the past. Booking on line was fast and easy. Spa reservations and dinner reservations were made by phone without any issues. Check in was quick and...

We visited the hotel in the winter..the off season and despite that it was fully booked. That's how popular it is...and for good reason. Large spacious rooms...with a lot of the old heritage details of the hotel well maintained and in use. It feels like an escape to an old world...cosy, charming decor...romantic and particularly for someone who likes a...

We have stayed at Congress Hall a number of times over the past few years and are never disappointed. In fact, I like it more and more each time. The service, amenities and property are wonderful! It's like going back in time. We really enjoyed sitting in the lobby by the fireplace reading and (even though a chilly afternoon) sitting...

We stayed here during the week at the end of January and it was beyond delightful! We had a room with two queen beds and an abbreviated view of the ocean, which we could hear at night with the windows cracked. The room was beautifully furnished and decorated - magnificent bed linens, great towels, bathrobes and all sorts of amenities...

This was a long weekend for us (Columbus Day Weekend) an we decided to take a drive to the shoreline, Cape May to be exact. It definitely wasn't a sunny weekend, but one worth getting out of the house, We left early enough on Sunday morning. A gray dreary and windy day with rain in the forecast. When we got...

Absolutely one of my favorite hotels. Four generations of my family have stayed at Congress Hall beginning in the 1920's through the 60's and hopefully for years to come! From first site of this lovely old hotel to climbing into the divine linens at the end of the day, it's a perfect get away! We remember Bill, the concierge and...

Beautiful old hotel, maintained perfectly. Onsite shopping, restaurants and a great coffee shop. First class service; all employees I encountered were very nice. Walk to everything! Expensive in summer, so I will only visit off season.
