Take an old and faded property with a storied past. Add local love, effort and repackaging for a new generation of vacationers who respect history. The result is a stunning restoration with all the modern amenities.

We only stayed one night before my son's CG graduation, but I must say Congress Hall was amazing! Very warm and inviting. Loved the inside decor, lounges, restaurants, rooms, stairs, and especially the room with the fireplace, piano and bar. I wish we would have stayed the weekend now. Highly recommend off season visit for a couple day getaway.

Lovely accommodations, very friendly staff. Good room sizes and comfortable beds. Consistent with other reviewers' observation there was a band playing much too loud somewhere on the premises last Friday night. Given the other complaints I've read about this it seems management prefers to cater more to a late-night party clientele than to folks who don't want to hear someone...

Congress Hall is the best example of how to blend old with the new. The history of the hotel is fully displayed yet all the modern conveniences have been masterfully integrated throughout the hotel. The rooms are cozy and comfortable with beautiful marble bathrooms. I really enjoyed our balcony for a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. The...

Loved our stay here. Beautiful place. Rooms are perfectly cleaned. Staff is friendly. Absolutely loved this place and will be coming back again. The vibes upon arriving were perfect. The lounge at night is so cozy with amazing live music.

My wife and I spent two days at Congress Hall last week and had a great time. The staff is very attentive, upon arrival the valet was right there to take care of the car and help with the luggage. The room was very clean and the turn down service is a nice touch. The room was clean each day...

This was our first stay at Congress Hall, though we previously stayed at the Star Inn on a previous summer visit and was able to utilize the ammenities of Congress Hall. The hotel did not disappoint. The rooms are beautiful, white linens and towels. Turn down service nightly adds such a touch of class. Meals at the Blue Pig and...

I did a girlfriend's getaway to Cape May last week and it is still a wonderful place to visit. I stayed at Congress Hall again, as I have so many times in the past, and it is still the best place in Cape May to stay. The staff was incredible, the food very good, the hotel room was great. You...

Had a great time visiting Congress Hall for my boyfriend's bday! The staff was always friendly and accommodating. The only complaint I have is they put us in a room on the 2nd floor on our first night. The noise level from the brown room pianist, wedding party and valet parking outside was through the roof! Thankfully they moved us...

Normally we like small, contemporary boutique hotels. This is not any of those, by a long shot. But Congress Hall commands a beautiful almost beachfront (across Beach Ave from the sand) location, with lovely views, charm & a great history. We were there at the end of Oct, so I can't comment of pool or beach setup, but I'm sure...
