At the very end of the street is the hotel we were to spend the night at – Congress Hall, one of America's oldest seaside hotels. Since 1816 the hotel has survived fires, hurricanes and wars, yet it is still standing and looking better than ever. After a complete renovation that was finished earlier this year, Congress Hall is the...

This was our first time staying here. The hotel is amazing. Clean. Historic. Plenty to do in the hotel itself. Shops. Bars. Restaurants. Bars. Rooms are amazing and spacious. Not too expensive. They have deals. Hotel tonight is useful at times. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. On site complimentary valet parking when we went. Would absolutely recommend and would...

We have been coming to Congress Hall for years and have never been disappointed. We usually stay in the fall/winter an the location and amenities can't be beat. Seems like the staff are always looking to impress and they do a great job in keeping the old beauty clean and maintained. Don't miss out on pizza's at the Boiler Room....

My husband and I spent a one night getaway at Congress Hall. We've been inside but have never stayed before. Wanted a spa treatment one night away with dinner in Cape May. Congress Hall didn't disappoint in any way! The hotel rooms were beautifully decorated and recently updated. We had a room that faced the ocean and I loved reading...

We stayed in the oceanfront suite (James Buchanan Suite on the 4th floor) which was beautifully appointed with fresh crisp bed linens and fluffy cozy robes and a lovely view of the ocean. The downstairs bar offered live music; fun spot but packed. Staff is very attentive regardless of how busy. Had a nice breakfast at the Blue Pig. The...

We had lived in Cape May for 18 years and recently moved away. We had been in and out of Congress Hall numerous times, to eat in the Blue Pig Tavern, to get a pizza and a beer in the Boiler Room, to get coffee and a pastry in Tommy's Folly, to attend holiday events, but we had never had...

My wife and I visited for a weekend getaway during the first week of February. We have stayed here before and had a great experience. This time, it was just as good as in the past. Booking on line was fast and easy. Spa reservations and dinner reservations were made by phone without any issues. Check in was quick and...

We visited the hotel in the winter..the off season and despite that it was fully booked. That's how popular it is...and for good reason. Large spacious rooms...with a lot of the old heritage details of the hotel well maintained and in use. It feels like an escape to an old world...cosy, charming decor...romantic and particularly for someone who likes a...

We have stayed at Congress Hall a number of times over the past few years and are never disappointed. In fact, I like it more and more each time. The service, amenities and property are wonderful! It's like going back in time. We really enjoyed sitting in the lobby by the fireplace reading and (even though a chilly afternoon) sitting...
