Another great stay at CH. New general manager Sam seems on the ball. Nice touch with welcome back letter and 2 comp drinks. Jimmy and Sandy are top notch at the Brown Room, always accommodating and loads of fun!

We booked an overnight stay at Congress Hall when we came to Cape May for a wedding at another venue in Cape May. Can certainly appreciate why you would stay at this hotel if this were the wedding venue and it would be a beautiful place to hold a wedding. Not sure I would rush back at the price for...

For my wife and I we felt like we stepped into a scene from a Hercule Poirot story from the 30's to 40's time frame. Beautifully restored for a taste of that eclectic era then Congress Hall is a very nice and enjoyable stay. They had a 4 piece jazz group by the bar near where you register. It was...

If you enjoy tradition and 'old school' Congress Hall may be the place for you - the building reeks of history, original features abound and management makes a point of its quaintness, for example, with cozy seating corners. If you prefer all mod cons and everything in working order it's probably not for you - the rooms are small, they...

Stayed here recently and my opinion is the hotel is overpriced and noisy. Room was small and bed not very comfortable. Front desk was to let us know when our room was ready but never did. I had to constantly check.

Let me say first that the hotel itself is very nice. We had a decent stay, but there were two issues. First, the self park lot is nearly impossible to get out of in the morning thanks to the pancake house that shares the lot. Cars park in spaces, but when the spaces fill up the parking attendant then seems...

This was our second time staying at congress. I titled this as a love hate relationship because the hotel is wonderful which we love..however the beds are awful- which we hate! we can't sleep properly and enjoy our stay. We thought it was just bad luck our first time but it happened again. The hotel has everything you need- stores,...

First we fell in love with Cape May, then we fell for Congress Hall. We love the proximity to the beach, the well appointed rooms, and the level of service. We look forward to unwinding with drinks in the Brown Room (the bartenders are terrific), renting bikes to explore and stop by the lighthouse, maybe some late night dancing in...

Family of four stayed here September 2014. Service was definitely not what I expected at this price point - Reception was not helpful, valet was slow. Focus was clearly on wedding reception prep., not other guests. Hotel is noisy - we were up all night with noise from the hotel and the street. (side comment - we have lived in...
