We stayed here for 2 nights in December. We originally wanted to stay in Manhattan but opted for this place since it was only 20 minutes from the city ( without traffic which is never the case lol) and MUCH less expensive.
It was beautiful, clean and the staff was wonderful. The best part was the breakfast! They had a build your own taco bar, so much fresh fruit, eggs, potatoes, cereals you name it! Fresh coffee and to go cups too! Such a great place! Will definitely stay again! My Family LOVED it!!

A fabulous place to stay if you want to visit NYC. Reasonably priced and a 5 minute walk brings you to a bus stop that brings you right to the Port Authority in Times Square (Bus # 163). The complimentary breakfast is the best...eggs, a different meat and potato dish every morning, oatmeal, bagels, muffins, yogurt, fruit, toast, coffee/tea, juice etc., can't beat it. Staff is very friendly.

I have stayed 4 nights in the Homewood Suites East Rutherford, during a business visit in the area. The Hotel is in a great location, just off the state route 17 and few minuts driving from thr MetLife Stadium. I have stayed in the 2 Rooms 2 Batheooms suite, hich was very big an comfie for me an my Coworker, but the did not offer houskeeping during all of our stay. During the checkout i have noticed a note saying you can ask for a Houskeeping if you are staying 4 or more nights. I dont know why they are not offering normal houskeeping these days when almost everyone is vaccinated. The breakfast is goosm with a nice and clean dinning area and many choices. There are many dining choices in the nearby shopping center. If you are looking for a great shopping break, the American Dream is very close to the hotel with all the great names in it. If you visiting this area, of MetLife Stadium, the Homewood Suites East Rutherford is avery good choice.

The hotel and itself was OK they could use a little upgrading as far as luggage carts. They definitely need to revamp their cable service if you’re traveling with small children TV is not going to be an option for them. Traveling during Covid I can understand the lack of housekeeping but some other accommodations could have been made. The room was very clean the front desk staff was always always always amazing every shift every day they all were truly amazing the convenience and location of the hotel is perfect

We stayed at the Homewood Suites for several days. During our time there, the staff was rude and numerous limitations were not communicated in advance, such as housekeeping only being every 4 days. The room was dirty, there was no hot water, and someone was smoking pot on our floor and I could smell it in our baby’s room. It was also priced extremely high for the lack of amenities and poor quality.

Stayed for three nights while visiting NYC. Easy access to the city via the 163 bus, which is a five minute walk from the hotel. Return fare to Port Authority Bus terminal is $9 for an adult.
Beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was very good. Staff was excellent.
Only complaint was the elevator which was being serviced, but not a huge deal.

The worst customer service I have dealt with in 20 plus years of staying at hotels. I am a 27 year Veteran and reserved room under government rate. I am still active duty as well. Come to check in to spend a couple days with a friend to watch the Chargers beat the Jets. I show them my Military ID, and they will not honor my rate I reserved tge room under due to no orders. I have room reserved for 345.00 for 2 nights. They demand I need orders but swear will find me the best rate available.... they wanted to charge 660.00 for two nights. Double the original reservation. I have never been able to reserve room for a government rate then been denied the rate. This is Unsat. We called Hilton customer service and they said that it's up to the hotel to ask for orders or not but not required. I will never stay at a Hilton again until this issue is fixed. Every active duty and Veteran should get that rate no matter what. This policy this hotel has needs to advertise this better if that's the way they are.

The only reason we stayed at the hotel because we were attending a wedding and they had a room block at the hotel. We are also Diamond Members.
Earlier in the day we received a call from whom I found out was the Sales Manger asking if we would be willing to move from 2 rooms to a 2 bed room unit. I called back and let a message for her.
Upon checking in we were given a room I went up to the room and it was only a single room which reeked of smoke. I went back to the front desk and told them that the room smelled and that we were booked for a two bed room unit. The young man at the desk had no clue!. He then called for someone in the back who came to the front. I am not sure who she was because the young lady at the front desk told me she was the assistant general manager but she told me she was the sales director. I told her the situation and she said we released that room because you never called back. I told her a message was left on the her phone. She had no answer. She placed us in q 2 bedroom unit
We then went up to room the floors had not been vacuumed as you could see glitter in the carpet. The hallway was filthy and it appeared that it had not be vacuumed in a while. I am paying full price for this room.
I went backdown to the desk and asked to speak to the General Manager or Assistant General Manager she stated stated that she was the manager on duty. I told her that I was upset with what had occurred and that I should be compensated in some why. Her response was I upgraded your room. I said and I am paying full price how is that an upgrade? She said we you had two rooms and now you have one with two rooms. I have traveled a lot and when you get upgraded because of issues you are not charged. I told her we were Diamond Members and she said there is nothing I can do because you are booked with the wedding. (WRONG)
I told her that she need to do better then that and she said I cant. Wrong answer I worked in the industry and I know for a fact that any manager can change a rate. Especially if you are the sales director who could even COMP the room. (which I was not looking for). I then asked her who the management company was for the hotel she refused to tell me and stated that I could call the General Manager tomorrow and if you are not happy with her then she can tell you. Are you kidding me!
This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my years of traveling. If this is what the Hilton Brand then its time to revaluate there satisfaction statement.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

Checked out early. The worst homewood suites i’ve been to. Very disappointed. The room is dirty and smells. No dishwasher soap or dishwashing liquid atleast, i’ve called housekeeping no one came to bring some. Bad service. Will not come back again.

They were great when they first opened but the hotel and staff service has declined significantly and I will NEVER return. I will take my business elsewhere. $250 additional fee for incidentals is a joke and it takes 5 to 7 days to return!

Hi, I went on the hotel’s website, and it does not list laundry as an amenity. However, they may do it via room service. I suggest you call the hotel. You can also go to Google Maps and type in the location and then “Laundromats,” to see if there are places nearby where you could do laundry.

Yes, the breakfast is pre-packaged. When we were there, they had egg sandwiches, sausage sandwiches, yogurt, fruits, cereals.
We are about a 10 minute or less drive to American Dream.
