There are not many nice hotel chain options near the Jersey shore, and this is certainly the best one. I stay here year after year and overall, it’s a great property. However, each annual visit for three years straight, I have contacted management about the same issue. Therefore, I think this time I need to post photos in an effort to get this rectified. The pool is awful and almost unusable. The outdoor section of the pool looks as if it has mold growing up and down the walls. Things happen and it’s understandable for a pool to get dirty periodically. However, three years later, the front desk management is still being alerted about the same exact issue. Can you please clean your pool so that your paying (and titanium) guests can utilize it? Especially on 4th of July weekend!

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for my friend’s wedding in late July 2024, which was conveniently nearby. Check-in was smooth, but unfortunately, our room, while clean, had an odd odor upon arrival. Thankfully, we had air freshener on hand, which helped mask the smell. The room itself was spacious, with a comfortable king-sized bed and a large LED TV, but the overall quality didn’t quite match the steep price of $450 per night, especially since I had booked over two months in advance.
The hotel was extremely expensive and, frankly, not in a very walkable area. Aside from the wedding, which was a drive away, the nearest point of interest was Asbury Park, a 12-minute drive away. The location was disappointing, considering the cost.
My biggest issue, however, came at check-out. While the official check-out time was 12 pm, our keys were deactivated by 11:45 am while we were loading our car. When I mentioned this to the front desk, the receptionist nonchalantly stated that this was intentional as a “warning” to guests. I find that utterly ridiculous. If the hotel wants to give a warning, they can simply call the room—not deactivate keys, which could prevent guests from reentering their room during the time they’ve paid for.
The front desk attendant didn’t seem at all apologetic and didn’t think our complaint was reasonable. Needless to say, I would not return to this hotel.

I had my wedding ceremony and reception at the Sheraton Eatontown Hotel this September. It was pricey, but you get what you pay for: The event was classy, fun, and expertly taken care of. We had a team of people working with us from the very beginning - more than a year in advance - to make sure our event went off without a hitch. Special props to Angel for helping me with my request to play my own playlist during the cocktail hour. Dinner was good, but the incredible cocktail hour stations was where the food really shined. I got dozens of compliments on how much fun everyone had and how much they loved the venue. The rooms were also really quite nice: the groom suite has a huge hangout area with its own pool table, and the bridal suite has quite a lot of space as well, including a huge bathroom. Any critiques I have are relatively small nitpicks: the group tasting was a little overwhelming, and the ceremony area is next to a noisy highway and more suited for shorter ceremonies in my opinion (as ours was). Overall, I'm very pleased with our choice. Thanks for making our big day special!

Being a longtime Bonvoy member I can't believe I'm writing a bad review - but this experience was unacceptable. I booked a 2 night stay for the Executive Lounge - NOT a great room, shabby, lukewarm water in the bathroom, cramped shower and broken chair. (Skip the towel swans, clean the room!) I treated myself to a suite specifically with a kitchenette so I could have access to a microwave. Require the device to heat up my medication but when I checked in the room didn't have this required device and the front desk said none were available, maybe tomorrow. For the next two days the staff were completely uninterested in assisting me and were dismissive. Finally asked for access to the Club Lounge since that was near my room but also turned down (rudely) for this request. I chose this hotel because it is Marriott but this place doesn't qualify for the name. Lots better places to stay in the area!

Thr room at the Sheraton was nice, clean and spacious. But the confusion the next morning prompted my review. We came down for breakfast and were confused when we were told the wedding breakfast would be at 9:00. Apparently, there was a wedding with similar names who scheduled a breakfast. We did not figure this out until almost 9. By then we were hungry and the only option was the expensive buffet in the restaurant. It was very chaotic and we could not even figure out who to ask about it. I did not think that chaotic overcrowded scene was worth 25.95 plus a 5% service charge.

I stay at this hotel often. Being a platinum elite now I’m titanium elite. With all the businesses this Hotel gets the staff keeps this property clean; the lobby area, pool area in the guest room. Alex and Greg are great asset to the team here.
If you’re looking for a nice clean comfortable hotel in the Jersey shore area stay at the Sheraton Eatontown The property is well worth the money and they definitely take care of thier guest.

It doesn't matter how good the location or quality of the property is if you are charged an entirely different price than you are quoted. I just got home to review my credit card charges to find that I was charged $99/day more than the price that was quoted via an email confirmation. To make matters worse, I am now sitting on hold with them as I write this. 30 minutes and counting. Ten minutes of it navigating though the ridiculous voice menu system that will only give you a choice to receive email communications. Time and money wasted because of incompetence. If you can't trust a business to be professional enough to charge you for the agreed upon price, why on earth would you ever do business with them, or make a positive recommendation?

I booked two attached rooms at this hotel when traveling with my family this week. I called a few days before to confirm they would be attached as I have little kids and was told no probllem! When I got there my rooms were across the hall which is not great when you have 4 kids under 11. The first individual helping me was new and wasnt able to assist so we went upstairs. i called back down and spoke to someone who said you cant have two attached rooms with what you booked (why no one told me this when I called a week before is a mystery!). I ended up speaking with Myles who said no problem I will fix this for you. He downgraded one of my rooms (with my okay of course0 and personally came upstairs to help me move. While this was happening another team member not as familiar gave away my second attached room. No worries, Myles to the rescue.. again. He once again helped me move all of my things to a third room and made sure I was situated. When my new second room was available he brought me the keys. When I needed morel blankets and there was no one helping to get it to us after an hour Myles brought it upstairs. I was in the lobby and saw Myles picking up garbage off the floor (not his job!). This man consistently went above and beyond and saved my family vacation. I hope someone from corporate reads this response and promotes him. He is a people person who cares about the individuals staying at the hotel. He steps outside of his role to get whatever needs to be done with a smile! Thank you to Myles for being awesome!

As soon as you walk into the Sheraton in Eatontown, New Jersey, you're impressed by the entrance and the beautiful, clean aroma that hits you. As you walk towards the front desk you're greeted by big smiles -- especially from Myles who helped us check in. Myles was knowledgeable, warm and fun! The hotel and its amenities were perfect and the room was clean and comfortable. It's close to many beaches, restaurants and stores. I highly recommend the Sheraton in Eatontown, New Jersey for your next vacation, wedding or any other venue.

I was not initially excited to stay at a Sheraton brand, but this place is pretty great. Same ugly brutalist exterior that a lot of Sheraton's have, but it got an elegant, airy, minimalist renovation. An indoor outdoor pool, a bar restaurant that feels open and comfortable (just regular chain hotel food, nothing special). Rooms are spacious, beds comfortable, shower reliable, toiletries above average. I would definitely return here if I was coming back. It's 60% cheaper than staying on the beach in a less, less carefully designed room. Beach is 10-15 min away. Front desk manager was fantastic, as was every front desk member I interacted with. House staff were all friendly and it seemed like folks were happy to be working there.

Not one that can be seen from anywhere around the hotel. Maybe there is something in the neighborhood but i doubt it, it's not that kind of neighborhood
