We stayed here for one night, it's nice, clean and comfortable!
The pool towels are nothing more then a hand towel so bring your own beach towels, you will be glad you did!
They skimp on room towels there were no more then two bath towels in a two queen bed room, asked front desk for extra towels and waited 30 mins for towels to be sent and had to go back to the front desk to ask again.
The beds are comfortable but pillows terrible.
It was a nice enough stay but for the price you pay 296 a night stuff like that should not be skimped on!

Our group of 16 people with 9 rooms were there for a wedding in the area. With the excellent work of the General Manager Brooke Gordon we were able to be located close together on the same floor. As I had booked a larger King Suite, she ensured I received the biggest one available so we were able to gather. Originally we were freaking out about no restaurant, no weekend breakfast and no Bar. Also no housekeeping. We bought coolers and mixers, bought snacks and food stuff, located nearby Dunkins and diners and made do. But for $265-425 a night you should not have to “make do”.
I was there for 4 nights; after 2 nights I was glad I packed my own garbage bags to get rid of refuse, & requested addl towels from the Desk several times. I encouraged others in the group to do the same.
The front desk personnel was great, and
handling a needed room change issue due to clogged tub, bike storage, and room key issues so helpfully.
The bed was super comfy, very firm. The elevators all worked great. The pool was very nice and clean. The rooms seemed extremely quiet to us. I imagine out group may have been the noisiest there.
The only issue is: the hotel is verging on dumpy. Its old, worn, dingey. It needs an upgrade desperately.
They opened up the restaurant on Friday and the Bar for the weekend, hope permanently. Hope Hilton refurbishes this place and makes it worthy of the excellent employees.

I hadn’t stayed here in 2 years, well before the renovation—this hotel cleans up good. :-). The rooms and decor are much improved and the quality of the food in the restaurant is much better and less expensive, with better service.

The detractors are mostly minor. I was told there was room service, but didn’t see a menu in the room. I prefer stronger-than-average coffee and there wasn’t anything along those lines (latte, cappuccino). I was disappointed that the shop in the lobby didn’t include protein bars (though it did include milk).

Now for the major detractor—hot water. My first morning, I had to let the hot water run for nearly 5 minutes before it warmed up. While I thought that would have been enough to “prime the lines”, that wasn’t the case—I had to do this every morning. I mentioned this to the attendant at checkout and she acknowledged the problem, stating they tell guests to run it for 15 minutes. BAD answer. When I told her it didn’t take that long, she replied “Oh, well that’s good.” But is it really? They completed a major renovation and skimped on infrastructure like a boiler/hot water heater. Kinda dulls the shine.

We do offer room service, the menu can be found when scanning the QR code on the mirror. Our gift shop inventory varies from time to time, we usually carry protein bars. We stayed here for two nights for family events nearby.
The hotel is currently undergoing improvement renovations inside on the ground floor but that did not interfere with our stay.
Our room was spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable, and that's all we look for while traveling.
The breakfast was served in a meeting room and while it may not have been as extensive as some other Hiton properties, it included all of the basics for the 'included' breakfast. Everything was fresh and there were plenty of seats for everyone.
Most importantly, the staff was extremely friendly and professional, so we were more than satisfied!!

We had reservations July 6th through July 8th for 2 rooms at the Doubletree Hotel Tinton Falls - Eatontown NJ. We arrived late and notified the hotel that we would be late. The front desk was very nice and helped quickly to check us in and get our rooms. Upon arrival the rooms and after a long drive we wanted to shower but found only 2 bath towels in each room, even at one per person that is 4 short of what we would need. We called the front desk and were told we needed to come down to the front desk to retrieve towels. We did and were handed 4 towels. The floor of room 328 was also noted as dirty - old food scraps were seen in the area of the night table. The next day, we left for our day and expected to come back to made up rooms and refreshed with clean towels, etc. We found one room was made up and the other was not and again just 2 bath towels. During the day, we wanted to use the pool and wee told there were no pool towels available. Later in the evening someone brought to our room some pool towels. When checking out, the front desk staff was short and borderline rude when we asked for some cookies for the drive back. We were told "we can't give you more than 4 without charging you. Isn't each room allowed up to 4 people? That would be 8 total. Our experience in this Doubletree was not the same we have come to expect from other Hilton Properties.

This newly renovated hotel was such a pleasant surprise. We stay at the Doubletree by Hilton in Tintin Falls for two nights when we were in NJ for a family wedding, and everything was perfect. The hotel was beautifully decorated with perfect little touches at every turn. We were upgraded to a suite and it did not fail to impress. The room (actually two separate rooms) was very large, the king size bed was comfortable with upgraded linens and a duvet that didn’t have me tossing it on and off all night long like so many hotels do when the duvet is SO heavy. This one was the perfect weight. The bathroom was well appointed with lux towels and Crabtree & Evelyn products. They even had much appreciated facial wash cloths and individual bars of facial soap (two of my pet peeves with so many hotels these days). I would highly recommend this Doubletree for anyone looking for a home away from home in the Tinton Falls area. Oh, and the complimentary cookies were delish!

Top notch experience. The room was large, comfortable and clean; the three different people we talked to at the front desk were welcoming and helpful. As Hilton members, we received a credit for breakfast in the hotel restaurant (a better deal than the alternative of 200 points), and the choices that were covered by the credit were tasty and plentiful. The waitress, Stephanie, was very attentive and helpful. We would stay here again.

Unfortunately, this hotel does not bring the experience that a top-tier Hilton should bring.

I always check in on my app so that I can skip the front desk. It works well for me and my identity is already approved through the app. Our check in time is 3 PM and when I got to the hotel, my digital key would not work. I literally had my hands full of Stuff that we were ringing into the hotel room so we could walk right to the room, use my digital key and keep it moving. Since my digital key was not working, I did have to stop by the front desk. Showed him that we checked in and he said that he needed to see my ID. I had to put all of ny stuff down and search for my wallet because we never have to go through this process to get to our room. That’s the whole point of me checking in early and getting a digital key. He told me that due to my tier, he has to check my ID. So if I was higher up, like a diamond member, he would not have to check my identification. This seems like discrimination and I truly did not appreciate that.

The first thing that I do when I am in a room is lower the air conditioner because I’m a naturally hot person. I set the room to 68° at 315pm, because that is a reasonable temperature for the summer heat. At 5:30 I noticed that the thermostat had not gone lower than 73° and I went downstairs to let the front desk know. The gentleman at the front desk then told me that I needed to give it 10 to 15 minutes before it starts to kick in. I let him know that I have been there for 2 1/2 hours and he was shocked that time went by so fast. He sent somebody to look at the thermostat and I was told that it was gonna be working just fine. We left the hotel at 6:30 PM and came back after midnight for it to still only be 73°. I was told that they have an eco-friendly AC system, so when I leave the room it shuts off. That seems counterproductive when it gets to be 75+ degrees in a room and you walk in to what feels like an absolute sauna. Now that we are back in the room 1am(ish), I decided to give it 20 minutes or so before we realized that the temperature was not going to go any less than 73°. We were told we could switch rooms, but we had plans and I had already set up a very time sensitive evening. I was so exhausted by the time we got back that I thought I could maybe try to sleep. I tossed and turned all night long and it was so hot.

All in all, this isn’t a very inviting property. It is very loud and you can hear people all down the hallway in their rooms. The smell of marijuana on our floor was insanely overbearing. And again, I’ve never heard of eco-friendly AC units in rooms, but how does it even know the difference of us leaving the room or sleeping?

Just like any other app, it does malfunction sometimes. We check all of our guests' IDs regardless of tier for security and safety purposes. We understand your frustration regarding the AC in your room. Our units do not run continuously. Our maintenance team has checked this particular unit and hadn't found any issues. We stayed at the Hilton for a funeral. From the get go it was a bad experience. We were supposed to have a handicap room for an 83 year old. To get to the room you needed to take the elevator to the second floor, walk all the way down the hallway the length of the hotel, take a different elevator back to the first floor go down the hall and around a corner. Insane for a person with walking difficulties. We had also booked the room PLUS BREAKFAST on line through Expedia for $10-$15. After talking to the server, then the front desk, then the manager, the hotel said they didn't do that anymore. I said you need to update your stuff on line then to make it accurate. The manager said they would credit our account the money and it wouldn't be an issue. They just needed to wait for the bill to be finalized. I went back to the desk after the bill was finalized spoke to the same front desk person and asked if I needed to hang out while they processed. They assured me the manager would take care of it. A week or so later we get the bill. No credit. So I call, talk to the gentleman at the front desk that checked us in and he said he checked with the manager, no problem....he'll take care of it. Two weeks later it is still not done so I call back and the woman at the desk said they needed to do "research" and that the manager would call me back. Horrible customer service for a lousy $10-$15, especially for a Hilton Gold Member. A customer shouldn't have to follow up 4 times just to get something taken care of. Ridiculous!

As a Hilton Honors Diamond member I like to stay in different properties throughout the portfolio. Although I live in the Monmouth/Ocean Counties area I decided to treat myself to a change of scenery over a holiday weekend. I stayed there on Sunday, Feb 20, 2022.

In the week before the stay I was upgraded to a Junior Suite. I appreciated the upgrade, and the room was great. It is near the elevator, but not so near that one could hear it. The bedroom area in fact doesn't even have a window, which is a plus to me. The room was certainly more than ample for my needs, clean, and I also enjoyed the good TV and WiFi service.

The bathroom was also good sized in tandem with the larger room, giving me plenty of room to put down toiletries. Plenty of hot water for my shower.

I was also impressed that free breakfast was offered for my Diamond status. I appreciate the property bucking the recent trend of Hilton properties offering credits towards expensive meals.

Check-in and check-out processes were flawless and simple, and my status was noted. Enjoyed the water and cookies.

Overall, this stay was excellent, and I would do it again.

Our pool can also accommodate that many people for swimming and relaxing, however there isn’t much space for games.
