I've stayed at this location about 6 times in the past 3 months. It's the only real hotel in the area. It's an average hotel that's a little dated and requires some minor upkeep. The rooms in general are decent but the carpets do have a smell in most rooms. A couple of times that I stayed there I requested a room change due to the odor. If the carpets are shampooed/steamed including under and around the bed, it would make a world of difference. That's the main issue I have with this location.

the location is great. however, there is a homeless man who wanders through the parking lot and actually followed me and my daughter. when we told the front desk they told us they knew about him but there was nothing they could do about him. we did not feel safe. he was there the next morning as well. he actually walked into the hotel lobby and stood there. for this alone i will not go back. but the bed was comfortable. the room was clean. however we asked for a room on the top floor thinking it would be quiet but instead the heater, pipes, etc banged all night and kept us awake.

The customer service at this hotel is atrocious. First off we walk in and there are 4 people at the front desk. Two of them are wearing masks but not covering their noses! After we check in the manager tells us about their restaurant and made it seem so inviting and accommodating. So later that night we decide to call for room service. After trying several times for someone to pick up the phone we got someone who told us they basically only have 5 items available due to covid. Ok, we decide to order pizza for instead. The delivery person messed up and left our order at the front desk. We didn’t know this and the man at the front desk never checked the receipt to see who’s last name and room number was on the receipt so our order just sat there getting cold. Also I would think this isn’t good practice to leave food at the front desk for your customers during a pandemic. He should have told the delivery person that the food can’t be left here and looked into the matter. After it dawned on us to call the front desk to see if the food was there the guy wasn’t apologetic he just said yeah your food is over there and that he didn’t know who it belonged to. Ummm hello look at the receipt! Then while getting our luggage together to leave the next morning I noticed that our smoke detector in the room was MISSING! I’m pretty sure this is a fire hazard!!. So ultimately not the best experience and I’m sure I can find a hotel with better customer service in the area for a similar rate. The hotel itself is clean and in a convenient location but I wouldn’t stay here again.

This hotel is poorly managed. It was a busier weekend than usual for them, but they did not prepare their boiler system to provide enough hot water for all of the guest rooms. I heard of at least 5 other complaints the same day, some in person. When asked of the front desk clerk how we were going to be able to take a shower, her snarky reply was "quickly"...and laughed. When asked to be comped a room for a future date I was offered 25% off. This was our second stay at this hotel , and our last.

Thank you for taking the time to post a review. It saddens us finding out that your stay was anything less than what you had expected due to the availability of hot water as well as the level of staff service you received at that time. We understand how you feel and we see the impact this had over your overall guest experience. We are doing the best we can to provide quality service and we sincerely apologize for any expectations we may have failed to meet. We appreciate the feedback and will use it in the further developments of the hotel in an effort to keep you and other guests happier on your future visits.

Purchased a king room, they tried to give us a double queen. Got double charged and had to talk to 4 people before it got fixed. Other guests were making a terrible racket for almost 24 hours, the hotel staff did nothing and eventually suggested we move our room. Had to move all our stuff 5 floors. Had a couple of power outages. Oh, and we were told we could check out at 2, only to be called at 12:30 to be told if we were not out by 1 we would be charged for a half a day. Terrible place to stay, especially for a miny honeymoon after getting married.

I booked four rooms for an overnight stay before a one-day conference. All of the occupants in each room, including my husband and me, agreed that the rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff was exceptionally accommodating, especially to me when I requested some items that I had forgotten. We will return when we are in the area again.

the hotel was clean and everyone was friendly and wearing a mask so we felt safe. the room was large and the bed was comfortable. the bathroom had a large amount of storage and was very clean, just did not like the rain head shower, that was the only negative, there was a refrigerator, chair and desk.

This hotel mainly exits to host low-rent rager wedding party's on the weekend. We were awakened each night of our stay by loud, drunken obnoxious jerks partying in the hallway, slamming doors, shouting in their rooms, etc. Had to call security multiple times. They offer breakfast -- only on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. They have a bar with the worst well I've ever experienced except in my college dormitory. Room keys did not work properly. TV did not work properly. They should turn this into housing for the homeless.

We sincerely apologize this was your experience at the Radisson Freehold. We do our best to make sure our wedding/event guests are all on one floor to keep any noise contained. We do have security on property to keep the noise to a minimum. Our restaurant is currently only open on weekends, but we hope to have it open all week very soon. We appreciate your patience as we work on getting more staff. Again, we apologize this was your experience, and we wish you all the best in your future travels.

We had a large group and guest service did not assist us in finding a space to gather together. When we asked them use outdoor seating and turn on lights, we were told we hadn’t paid to have the lights turned on. They were not helpful and made no attempt to give solutions for gathering spaces. They were very unfriendly.

We're disappointed to hear that you were not happy with your recent stay. After addressing this with management, we would like to take this opportunity to respond to your review. We understand that you wanted to use one of our ballrooms and our outdoor spaces to host an after-party. You were informed that both spaces were unavailable as they were set for events the following day, and that both these areas are rented spaces. We were happy to keep our outdoor pool open to 11 PM, which typically closes at 9 PM, so you could enjoy pizza and drinks with your group. We're sorry if you weren't satisfied with this solution.
