When I think of the checklist of what I'd want in lodging, this checks all of the boxes! Clear instructions for arrival, check Comfortable beds, check Immaculate atmosphere, check Everything in working order, check Appropriately priced for the area, check Convenient location, check Delicious coffee and nourishing breakfast, check, check! Yes, there were even beach towels, beach chairs and an outdoor shower! Check!
The hosts (owners) were delightful. They put their full heart into making the stay a meaningful one for their guests. I am so glad to have found the Ocean Park Inn! I will be back!
Next time, I think I will use the kitchen on the third floor to prepare some meals. I didn't realize how well appointed it would be; cooking there would surely save money on the local, expensive restaurants!

We stayed at the Ocean Park Inn for a weekend in late July. It's a friendly place, priced well and situated perfectly for walking to the beach or to restaurants on Cookman Ave in Asbury Park. (You can hear the Stone Pony from the 3rd floor porch when there are shows - but we did not hear anything in the room.) Owners were kind, professional, and laid back - they made a nice spread for breakfast and offered beach badges at a discounted rate. The shared bathrooms were totally clean and we never waited to shower or anything, despite the inn being fully booked. Rooms without ensuite bathrooms do have a small sink in the room for hand washing, brushing teeth etc.

This place is a hidden gem. Immaculate rooms, with a warm and welcoming vibe. The owners are easygoing and pleasant, and I immediately felt right at home. Breakfast was delicious, and the front porch was the perfect spot to linger over morning coffee. Ocean Grove is an amazing town, and the location of Ocean Park Inn meant easy walks to the beach, restaurants and shops on the main street, and night life in Asbury Park. I had hesitated to book one of the rooms with shared bath, but the bathroom was meticulously clean throughout my stay, and I will likely book the same room the next time I visit (Room 8 - I love the bay window!). Hope to return soon.

Wonderful, relaxing summer weekend stay in Room 17 on 3rd floor with a private bathroom. The house is immaculate. The breakfast included was delightful - homemade frittata, yogurt, breads, oatmeal, juice & coffee. Host was friendly and present. The location is nice, especially being on a corner for optimal views.Beach towels and chairs available to borrow. Would recommend to friends and would stay again.

It is a very cute BnB…great location..a short walk to the beach, shops, restaurants, bars and The Stone Pony!
We stayed for one night (which all other places I called required at least 2 nights) and Dominic was great to book with. He allowed us to check in @ 2pm since we had plans @ 4pm until late in the evening. He sent us a code that morning and explained check in, which couldn’t be any easier. Our room was perfect for us…shared bathroom was never an issue. Breakfast was available the next morning with an assortment of options. We would definitely consider booking again in the future if ever in the area!

Room 8 is very spacious and quaint. The entire BnB is CLEAN and quiet. Three balconies and even though it was strange the shared bathrooms weren’t a concern for us. Shared common area is perfect for meal prep and lunches. BnB is run by very nice folks (son and father) and they are super helpful. Breakfast was great- though I’d like a frittata with bacon next time 🤣 we will stay again and even booked for next year when we checked out this year. Worth it. Ocean grove itself is beautiful but having a safe place with peace of mind is amazing.

My 16 year old and I stayed here for a concert, and everything was wonderful. The owners were very accommodating with our arrival & departure needs. Our room was clean and neat. The shared bathrooms were fine. The area was quiet and we felt very safe. It is a 5 minute walk to town and a 10 minute walk to the Stone Pony Summer Concert Stage. We enjoyed a nice, simple breakfast in the morning and had a lovely conversation with the owners. I would stay here again. No complaints.

Several visits here, both in mid-summer and fringe season. It just couldn't be nicer. The facility is immaculate, comfortable and attractive. Porches afford views of the ocean. Kitchen for guests' use. Surrounding area is quiet and peaceful. Short walk to the beach, the local grocery and several unpretentious but very good restaurants. Sharing bathrooms is not a problem - I never needed to wait. Best of all: the proprietors are friendly and accommodating. There is a cheerfulness here. The age and ambience of this inn is perfect and fitting for the character and mood of Ocean Grove.

Very easy stay. Kitchen, relaxation areas balconies and porch all so comfortable and friendly. If you want to turn your beach day into two this is an affordable option. Be clear the bathrooms are shared in most rooms but this was not a problem for us.

My two roomies from college and I were looking to do a quick girls weekend which, of course, we left to the last minute. Luckily, Eileen was able to squeeze us in to the last room at the Ocean Park and were SO glad we did.
Great value - Steps from the beach. Hot coffee and delicious breakfast waiting for you (french toast one day, eggs the next). A well appointed room with AC. I was a little nervous about the shared bathroom but there was no need - bathrooms were absolutely spotless and I never even saw anyone else using them. (Many rooms do have en-suite ones as well--just book in advance). Easy walk to nightlife in Asbury Park for dinner and drinks.
Tip - definitely ask to have your breakfast on one of the porches - it was incredibly serene and really made our stay.
Everyone was so nice and attentive - we loved our visit to Ocean Grove and the Ocean Park Inn was a huge part of that!
