Pitman Place at Ocean Grove is our newly renovated bed and breakfast in Ocean Grove, NJ and is located at 20 Pitman Avenue. It is one block from the beach and boasts a spacious front porch and two balconies with ocean views. Our large welcoming lounge and all guest rooms have a coastal decor vibe with air conditioning, a flatscreen TV, free WIFI, coffee station and refreshments available to our guests.
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
Enjoyed a comfortable 3 night stay at the Pitman Place on Bridgefest weekend. This B&B was not only reasonably priced, but very clean and well maintained. My room was located on the second floor and shared a bathroom down the hall. The mattress was to die for, talk about comfortable, as you never know what to expect or how you’re going to feel in the morning. Wished I could of taken the mattress home The staff was very friendly and my brief interaction with the owner Lisa was very pleasant. As I added night to my already booked stay, she kept me in the same room. They served a complimentary breakfast, which consisted of freshly cut fruit, an egg-veggie casserole, assortment of yogurt, toast, bagels juice and coffee. This B&B is locate within a short walking distance to the beach, shops, restaurants and the Great Auditorium . Oh, a just a block down from the famous Days Ice Cream !!! Looking forward to stay here for Bridgefest 2025

What a great find. Lisa the host made everything perfect for our stay. Early check-in was greatly appreciated. Homemade breakfast was more than we expected!
The inn is clean and newly renovated. We opted for the budget room with a shared bathroom on the first floor. The bathroom was clean and fresh clean linens were provided daily. Cranking AC In our room.
Literally this is one short block to the beach! The other way is one block to an amazing ice cream shop! Another short walk is shops and restaurants. Fantastic location.
I hope to come back next year!

Pitman Place is quaint,cozy,and only a block from the beach.The rooms are newly renovated and tastefully decorated.My wife and I stayed in a room with a private bath,and loved the fact that the air-conditioner could give us that “ “meat-locker”feeling on a sweltering summer day(if need be).The complimentary breakfast can be prepared to order,and there were many choices,including fruit,yogurt,donuts,bagels,etc.Prices are reasonable,and the owner Lisa is extremely warm and helpful. Cannot wait to return!
